I have decided to try W Hotel when I saw they had a great deal on weekdays and since I had some spare days off, my friends and I decided to try it out. The team had been extremely helpful especially when I had booked the members rate and realized it was for room only and we wanted to have breakfast because we heard it was great. I dropped a message to the Facebook page and they were quick to respond and assist with this. Not only were they wonderful in responding, they even managed to get us complimentary breakfast for our rooms. I couldn’t have asked for more! The rooms were amazing, especially the ones facing KLCC and the complimentary chocolates were delicious. I tried using the phone to ask for additional pillows but weren’t able to get anyone on hold, however after checking the Marriott app, I was able to place an order for pillows and extra amenities and it was quickly delivered to my room. Truly a wonderful app to compliment the stay. W Insider Kristine was also kind enough to drop me a message on WhatsApp to check on me and it was certainly a great surprise. Breakfast at Flock was truly deserving, it was not the full setup primarily because of the more quieter time of the week, but service was immaculate. Everyone at the restaurant were attentive and helpful, especially Ben who kept checking in on us. Thank you once again for the wonderful stay W, hope to be able to visit again and next time make full use of the pool.

I stayed for five night in this place and had a good experience overall. The rooms are small but clean and everyday Housekeeping guys were doing a fantastic job to keep our rooms plesentable. Bathroom is well cleaned and water pressure is so good and also it has hot water all the time. This hotel is located in the middle of a bazaar sorting area and if you are a shopping person you can easily walk to the supermarkets and supermarkets such as Mydin, Hanieefa and Lulu. Also its 2 min walking distance to Masjid India metro station and from their it won't take more than 10 min to reach KLCC, Aquaria KLCC and other places. Tip - There is no any nice window view but you can observe the market area in front and I enjoyed it. Breakfast is not so good, the layout is ok.. but all the foods are two oily and they serve pre fried egg in buffet and it become all harden of you come late for the breakfast. And there is no much difference in all five days. We took breakfast outside for two days cuz of that. There are plenty of restaurants around where you can have your breakfast. So you better book without breakfast. When you book a grab make sure you change your location to the nearest road as there is no direct access to the hotel by a vehicle. The cafe is close early (around 5 p.m) but don't worry it's always better to try plenty of restaurants outside. Overall it's a nice place to stay. Hats off to Housekeeping team.

It feels good to live in the big dormitory, and sleep is also very good. Stayed for five days on the last day, and someone actually ate curry in the room. I didn't sleep all night, I left at 3:00 that day, but I really didn't have a bound bank card and I couldn't pay. I couldn't get a taxi for a long time. The front desk of the hotel took me everywhere to find a car. Thank you very much for the uncle. The location is very close to Chinatown. There are many delicious foods nearby.

Overall it was a good stay. Room is a bit smaller by normal standard. A walking distance from Masjid Jamek LRT Station around 300 to 400m. The advantage is very close to river of life, sultan Abdul samad building and all attractions near merdeka Square. MYR50 deposit is needed upon check in. Breakfast price is MYR10+ for ala carte set.

I didn’t find it at the beginning, because the exterior wall was renovated, the oil was in other colors, and I was always looking for the yellow exterior wall, the yellow exterior wall. It took about five minutes to realize that I had been standing at the door orz. It is a subway station nearby and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Chinatown. It is a very convenient place. The hotel will lock the door at about 10 o'clock in the evening, and some people will be able to enter and exit. It feels very reassuring. The staff is very enthusiastic and can communicate successfully in both Chinese and English. The overall feeling is very good. Going to Kuala Lumpur later, I will be back here.

More about Kuala Lumpur

All About Kuala Lumpur

Say hello to Kuala Lumpur, a dazzling city that sits at the heart of Malaysia, both geographically and culturally. It's not just the capital city but the epitome of Malaysia's rapid urban development and rich heritage. Kuala Lumpur, or "KL" as locals call it, is more than just steel-clad skyscrapers and luxury shopping malls; it's a vibrant melting pot of diverse cultures, gastronomic delights, and hidden gems waiting to be explored. Did you know that Kuala Lumpur translates to "Muddy Confluence" in Malay, referring to the spot where the Klang and Gombak rivers merge?

Kuala Lumpur Travel Essentials

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is your main entry point, boasting top-notch facilities and an efficient Express Rail Link (ERL) service that takes you straight to the city centre. For moving around the city, KL's public transportation is commendable with MRTs, LRTs, and taxis available at your convenience.

The city primarily uses the Malaysian Ringgit for transactions, and credit cards are widely accepted. While Bahasa Malaysia is the national language, English is commonly spoken in business and tourist areas, making it easy for international travellers.

As for visa requirements, always check the latest information with your local Malaysian embassy or consulate. Generally, nationals from various countries are allowed to enter Malaysia without a visa for tourism purposes.

Exploring Kuala Lumpur's Top Attractions

The iconic Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world, is an absolute must-see. For history enthusiasts, Merdeka Square and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building paint a vivid picture of Malaysia's past. Nature lovers will enjoy the lush Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, while food aficionados should not miss Jalan Alor, a bustling food street boasting a wide array of local dishes.

Navigating Kuala Lumpur's Weather

Kuala Lumpur enjoys a tropical rainforest climate, where sunshine and showers can happen in the same day. Temperatures in KL usually range from 22°C to 33°C. While the city is ideal to visit year-round, the best times are from May to July and December to February when rainfall is minimal. It's advisable to pack lightweight clothing, a raincoat or umbrella, and comfortable shoes for city exploration.

Your Perfect Accommodation in Kuala Lumpur

Choosing the right hotel in Kuala Lumpur depends on your needs and preferences. For proximity to attractions, consider the Traders Hotel, offering a stunning view of the Petronas Towers. Food enthusiasts might prefer a stay in Bukit Bintang - known for its culinary scene, where the stylish WOLO Bukit Bintang resides. Near the MRT, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral offers great connectivity.

If luxury is your call, the Mandarin Oriental defines opulence. Budget travellers can look at Container Hotel, unique and wallet-friendly.
