Gasthof Diem

This hotel is a joke, please avoid. Due to an accident on the road we did arrive late, but the owner said to us to call on his tel number as he will come and give us the keys. He never answered to that phone, and he left us sleeping in the car park in the car with 2 small children and an elderly person. In the morning when he returned at the hotel, instead of apologising, he was very rude. They don’t care at all about their customers, all they want is to take your money, even if they let us sleep outside. I’ve never experienced something like this, as all the hotels had at least a collection box from which late customers could collect their keys. We’ve got to the conclusion that he did all this on purpose, without even thinking that he left 5 people sleep in a car. He also refused to give a refund . We’ve always had great experience with hotels in Germany, but this one has left such a bitter taste. Do not use this hotel, as you will end up sleeping outside and then you will be treated badly and you will be charged for a service that you have never used.
