So I always try and be balanced when leaving reviews, especially as I have my own Independent Travel Agency and I travel often for work. I travelled to Montenegro for a long weekend for my Birthday. Positives: - Hotel is in the heart of the old city walls which is quaint and lovely to stroll around. It is close to everything you need and you can’t complain about the stunning location. Kotor is lovely, but one night in the city is more than enough. - Check in staff were lovely and I was able to check in a hour early. - The room was huge, we paid for the Luxury Suite as a birthday treat, it was period decorated to match the vibe of the hotel but still felt modern. The room itself was pretty with the brickwork and old walls. The view from it was also not too bad, though did lack a little table and chair on the balcony (even though it is just about big enough. It would have been nice for morning coffee. The bathroom had a huge bathtub which was nice, band the room had all the typical amenities you would expect. Negatives: - The hotel is pretty quiet with the windows closed despite being only 2 floors high from the hustle and bustle - Our room was next to a loud bar which does keep going until the small hours, we were lucky that our room as L shapes and the bed was round the other side so made it quite faint, with ear plugs in I couldn’t then hear anything, though pretty poor considering the price point. - The bed was EXTREMELY firm and the pillows lumpy, I do like a firm bed, but that was even too firm for me. It also creaked every time you moved which was loud in the night. - The bizarrely no overhead shower, not even over the huge bath (though it did have a shower head you can pull from the bath and use by hand), it was faff to shower, oddly it also had a creepy window with no blind that if someone was near the bed, then they are seeing you in your glory. Whilst I am close to my partner, we don’t share toilet time, it was a bit off putting. - Oddly the minibar is cash, so don’t get caught out. - I found the price point a little steep, €250 is a lot for an average room, noisy location at night and not a good night sleep, you are only paying for the location. - When you pass through reception to go to your room, you walk past the kitchen staff all sat out smoking etc. pretty grim as a non-smoker but also not what you expect from a 4* hotel, put a nice screen up or something and let the staff break in peace. In summary, the hotel is 3* average, it was pleasant enough but about €100 a night over priced for the quality of the room and experience, location is what you are paying for, which is lovely. I wouldn’t stay here again, I am glad we only stayed for 1 night.

First of all, the room is an apartment in the form of a homestay. Our husband and wife are arranged on the top floor. We are very satisfied because the room is large, but there are no hotel facilities such as hair dryers and slippers. We need to bring our own. I think the price is very high, because it is winter, do not play the sea, so there is no resort hotel on the beach, the purpose is to be convenient and cheap. This is a bit difficult to find in the ancient city at first. You can find it on Google Maps. The hotel has a hotel name on the door. If you can't find it, you can ask the merchants in the ancient city. After arriving, you need to call the landlord first to open the door to check in. Remember to check in after 2 pm. The phone is posted at the door, okay? There is a 0 in the middle, don't add it when you call. The ancient city is quiet at night, safe, and the facilities are old, but harmless. Not suitable for the elderly and children, because this building, the stairs are not easy to climb, the spiral stairs are very narrow, there is no elevator, but it is suitable for us to have no high requirements for the living conditions, the demand is clean, safe, convenient to travel, and very cost-effective. The location is also convenient, the landlord's phone contact attitude is also very friendly, and you need to check out before 11 o'clock. Very satisfied with us, very pertinent, different travel needs, choose hotels according to your needs.

We stayed here for 5 days in room 201. This was a standard room at the back of the hotel. The bed was huge , the room clean and it was quiet. It has a balcony although the view to one side is old damaged buildings if you angle the chairs the other side overlooks a park. The breakfast is chosen from a list and if you have plans to be somewhere service can be a bit slow so factor this in but the breakfast is nice. There is parking 200m up the road that is free if you are unable to park in front of the hotel. It is in a good location

Remember to contact the boss via WhatsApp. The room is large and air-conditioned. You can cook and it is very comfortable. The boss is very friendly. There are not many parking spaces but they were empty when I went there. And the boss said that if the front is full, you can still park in the back. ! The location is also good, it's a short walk to the bay and not too far to the old town!

Hotel facilities are very new, the price of less than 100€ is excellent value for money. About 30 minutes walk from the ancient city of kotor, will pass by several good seaside restaurants, take a taxi about 6 euros. The room size is also large, the service staff is very friendly and the English is good. Breakfast is very good, it is a la carte, better than the buffet

Overall, the experience was amazing. Demir was extremely friendly and cooperative pre and during our stay. He was very prompt with replying to our messages and very cooperative of our requests. He is an amazing host as he recommended us a nice place for dinner with really good food and dropped us and picked us up from the restaurant. He also provided us free shuttle service to the airport. It was very nice of him! Demir gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room with a nice view. The room was clean and spacious. The only downside is the size of the bed. It is slightly small but negligible. The location of the room was perfect because we were able to see a beautiful sunset through our balcony. The surroundings of the hotel are nice too. There is a very nice pool with a nice view of the sea. The location of the hotel is nice if you have a car. It is a bit difficult to get to the hotel with public transportation. But Demir offered us a pick up from our bus stop too. Overall, it is a great place to stay at with very hospitable and cooperative staff. Highly, highly recommended!

Lovely hotel set in beautiful surroundings on the Bay of Kotor. Very clean and comfortable room with a stunning view of the bay. Helpful staff and friendly. A walk across the road and you’re on a shingle beach. Quiet area (May). Plenty of hiking in the surrounding area. 1 hours walk into Kotor, or taxi €7. Bus runs hourly. 15/20 minutes from Tivat airport. Hotel has a restaurant for residents/non residents all very good food reasonably priced. The hotel doesn’t have a lift, 3 floors. I had breakfast included, no vegan options (maybe on request) and I found the breakfast was much the same daily. Salad, meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages. Fruit, yogurt . No variety on bread. Good coffee. Hotel has a 2 seater kayak you can hire, €10 1 hour, €20 3 hours (recommend). Nice pool and a small gym. As a solo traveler I found this was a perfect spot to explore.

This is the most beautiful Nikki Beach I've visited. Absolutely stunning location overlooking the water. The place itself is very high end with prices to match! We knew this before visiting though so fully expected a big bill at the end of the day. We had a great day. The setting, the drinks, the music, the food and the ambience - all top notch! One thing I didn't like was our waiter was constantly over at our beds pouring us all wine and it was slopping over the sides of our glasses which, when it's that expensive, you don't want to waste a drop! He was clearly trying to get us to drink up so we could order more too, therefore increasing the service charge. Then the service charge was 225 euros and he still wanted a cash tip (which he didn't get)! That aside, lovely day had by all :)

Outstanding
GGuest UserIt was dark in Montenegro, and we got off the bus when we arrived. The landlord came out to help us park the car and mentioned two 26-inch suitcases to the room. The room heating has been turned on, the landlord is very enthusiastic to give a lot of travel tips, and also provides welcome drinks.
The room has a balcony, open the window and say Kotor Bay. When there is sun, sit on the balcony and chat with friends for coffee and enjoy the scenery. Stayed for two nights, and there was a MSC cruise into the bay.
Not far from the ancient city, about 10 minutes walk, there are shopping centers on the way to the ancient city, there are big supermarkets, very convenient.
The room is not very big, but it is equipped with a kitchen and tableware. It is very convenient to simply make something to eat.
逆逆风燕Every time I make a trip to book a hotel, it is my most tangled thing. I look at the evaluation style and I will always stay in several hotels or B&Bs for a long time. This time I brought a group of friends to play freely. It’s really true to me. There was a test and a torment, and I thought about the whole journey to let everyone feel different tastes - regular hotel Hilton, invincible sea view villa, forest log cabin, castle hotel, special hotel... Today's Krista Puglia Restaurant Hotel (Ctrip Four Stars) is uniquely situated in the heart of the town, surrounded by mountains and waters and beautiful surroundings... no matter the day or night... and the last two hotels Waiting for my arrival, hope can also bring us full happiness! Reservations such as blind date, all based on the feeling [smirking] It is said that the hotel breakfast and violin help, looking forward to sleep...
KkentkaiThe hotel is located in the middle of the ancient city square, the location is excellent, the use of ancient buildings to renovate, gorgeous decoration, warm and comfortable, breakfast variety is rich enough, the attitude of the service staff is very harmonious, the parking lot is outside the ancient city, you need to book in advance. It should be noted that the hotel's beach is 10 kilometers away from the hotel. It is coming to Perast. It costs to take a taxi. I am self-driving. The beach can be parked free of charge. I need to book in advance, and I need 10 euros for the beach. Of course, the beach has A very beautiful hotel, it is super good to eat 15 euros per person, so you can have a meal by the beach.

SServetIt is in old town. Its great feeling that stay in old town . Room is enough big, and comfortable and clean . Only the problem actually its in very easy location but there is no have any map or hotel name on gate so its difficult find for first time. Staffs are very friendly.
GGuest User The apartment is situated inside one of the original old buildings of Kotor within the city walls. It has easy access to everything in the old city. We were able to park a car about 200 m away in a public car park currently at no cost Well refurbished with plenty of space. We were travelling as two couples. It was great to have separate bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The host was very helpful, explained a number of useful things about the city and the apartment. He was easily reachable if required. As this apartment was within the city centre, it was very busy and noisy. However, this did not bother us and the noise seemed to stop around about midnight. The apartment was very comfortable and we slept well. We would have no hesitation about booking this apartment again.
YYANGThe location of the hotel is very good, just in the old town of Cottoll, you can go up the mountain after going out. The room facilities are a bit old and the soundproofing is not very good, but I have no high expectations for this small hotel, the big bed is still very comfortable. Hotel staff is very warm and friendly!
GGuest UserI am shocked that Guesthouse Athos doesn’t have more reviews, because I found my stay here absolutely wonderful! Located just a few steps away from the more bustling/touristy squares, Athos lets you feel a bit more removed and tranquil, especially nice for a quiet morning coffee at one of the cafes outside. The room was spotless and comfortable, with picture-perfect views from every side. I made an emergency booking and within 15 minutes my room was ready for me and the check in staff helped me carry my bags up the stairs (they are quite steep as others have mentioned). One thing to know - there is a lively bar next door, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend earplugs. A lovely experience here that I highly recommend for anyone looking for a Kotor hotel.
