This hot spring hotel is situated very close to the Kotohira train station. Our booking included set dinner and breakfast buffet. Food is delicious and you get pretty full. Room is spacious and air-con is cool which is crucial during the hot summer. The hot spring is segregated between men and women; opens until midnight. There is a free shuttle bus available which takes you to and from the train station. I arrived at Kotohira around noon and that morning I had the hotel staff where I stayed in another town to call this onsen hotel to pick me up.

Big and comfortable hot spring hotel. The large floor-to-ceiling glass in the front lobby introduces the magnificent mountain scenery outside! Thumbs up! The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying.

Facilities: Relatively old. I think the cost is pretty basic.
Hygiene: Because there is an open-air bath, the bathtub and wooden floor are seriously worn and do not look clean. I am helpless.
Environment: Because they are all large bathhouses, I didn’t go to the bath at all. I took a bath in the bathhouse in the room.
Service: Polite but not considerate as a five-star level. Maybe we are foreigners and it is difficult to communicate with a waiter who speaks English fluently.
Breakfast is worth eating but the lobby-style design

Very good hotel
The service staff are considerate and friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. When staying at Feitian Pavilion, the view from the large bathing room on the 10th floor is very good. It is very leisurely to enjoy the view while soaking in the open-air spring.
Both dinner and breakfast were very exquisite and delicious, a great experience.
It was raining when I finally left to catch the tram. The service staff specially drove me to the tram station. I really felt at home.

I chose a room with a hot spring.
When checking in, if you confirm that you are Korean, you will be given an information sheet in Korean. Wi-Fi is very poor as it is not for each room but for the entire hotel.
I included breakfast and dinner, but dinner was also very good!
