I booked an Ibis, but it was full, so Trip.com upgraded me to this hotel for free. Although it was a room type upgrade, I felt that the hygiene and standards were still quite a bit worse than chain hotels. Also, when checking out, they charged me a 10 MYR/night accommodation tax, totaling 20 MYR, and wouldn't let me leave without paying. This was never mentioned during booking or check-in, which was quite unpleasant.

The hotel was really clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. The location is very convenient — easy to find food nearby and there’s also a Watson close to the hotel, which made everything easier. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay. Location was good inside a small shopping centre. Soundproof was bad as you can hear opening and closing of door from other rooms and you can hear the conversation clearly from other rooms too.

Great view from my room. But really need to improve in cleanliness, I can see ***** hair on the toilet floor, ? Hair on the bed. The hook behind the door is loose. Otherwise location is still okay for me
