Very relaxing 2 night stay as part if our trip around Borneo. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (a little dated) and the hotel has a rooftop bar that provided us with views of one of the best sunsets we have ever witnessed. The hotel were also kind enough to offer us a free welcome drink at the bar along with a cake to celebrate my birthday. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Hotel is nice, clean and have good amenities. The room is clean, though not new, but all amenities are working fine. The bed is comfortable and comes with 2 pillows each. The room even has a study table. We use it as a dining table instead. The room has a unique toilet. The shower and toilet bowl is separated having a door each and next to each other. Also, the wall and door of the toilet can slide fully open exposing the sink and the doors of shower and toilet bowl. You can just slide to close everything if you want privacy. The hotel staffs are nice too and attend to your request promptly. I requested for extra pillow and they sent it within a few minutes. The breakfast was also good and delicious. They have a wide variety of dishes from local, western, Indian, Chinese. Though everyday is similar but they change certain dishes such as from fried noodle to fried kuey tiow, fried rice to nasi lemak, etc. The hotel is also close to the waterfront, eating places and walking distance to Suria Sabah shopping centre. Overall, a good hotel to stay in.

Not to mention the great location close to night market and all convenient things like pharmacies, the mall, etc. Right on the waterfront so you get a pretty nice view from the Infinity pool, proper modern gym, and amenities. There is an organic coffee place in the bottom, which is fantastic. Very good value for money of all the places I’ve stayed on my six week trip probably one of the top in terms of overall attention to detail and positive attitude all around.

Location: +++++ 3 mins walk to nearby mall (Serway point?) with plenty of shops and eateries 5-7 mins walk from the night market (pasar malam Sinsuran: seafood dinner, light bites, local snacks and dried goods) Facilities: +++ Complimentary bottled water and coffee Heated shower Towel, soap bar and shampoo provided Working lift Few hangers and prayer mat provided Aircon working well Classic lock and key door knob Cleanliness: ++ Pretty acceptable and would have given higher if not for the 3 cockroaches that came to accompany us 🥲 no idea where or how but they made a grand entrance from behind one of the bed. And torn bedsheets though clean Staff were friendly and prompt when we asked for missing toilet paper.

I had a mixed experience for my stay. I would still give it a 4, especially because of the general manager who tried to make my experience great. I booked deluxe double and had some aircon issue, thankfully, I was upgraded to deluxe executive which made my experience better. I still feel the hotel staff needs to be more professional. I had an early morning flight and checked at the reception if they can provide take away breakfast boxes 2 days before checkout, I was informed it can be done. I double checked one night before if they can arrange and they still confirmed. However, when I went in the morning, there was some other staff who was clueless and said their kitchen opens at 6 am (I was supposed to leave at 6am) That was quite disappointing, It is fine if something cannot be arranged, just inform the guests so that they can make alternative arrangement. Overall, the location is great! Just few minutes walk from Waterfront.

After comparing several sea view apartments in the city center, I chose their romantic sunset sea view apartment. The main reason is that the arrival time of the flight was already midnight, so I arranged an airport pick-up with the landlord, which saved us the trouble of how to drive to the apartment and check in. The host, CK, helped us with all the check-in procedures in advance, and took us directly to the door of the apartment after picking us up from the airport. The next morning, I was woken up by the lively sound of the fishing pier. When I opened the curtains, the large glass balcony faced the pier, and I could see the blue sea while lying on the bed! Facing the setting sun in the evening, it’s like lying on the bed and blowing the air-conditioning to enjoy the top ten golden sunsets in the world! The location of the apartment is very convenient. You can meet all your travel needs within a five-minute walk, especially the must-eat Internet celebrity food, and five minutes to the Fisherman's Wharf Bar Street. It's a pity that we only arranged to stay for one night this time, and we must come again next time!

The location of the hotel is very convenient for travel. It is next to the Kota Kinabalu Central Market, the handicraft market and the night market. It is a 10-minute walk to Gaya Street and a 20-minute walk to the Jeston Pier. The room facilities are a bit old but clean and tidy. The boss is very nice and helped us to get the Grab car to the airport.
