If you're going to hike Bukit Perahu or Bukid Kidilus, Tang Dynasty Lodge I would recommend to stay. Near to Tuaran town. The bathroom tiles should be replaced with rough surface tiles. I almost slipped. Overall the place is comfortable

As a long-distance couple that can only meet with one another once every one to two months, choosing where to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday was even more important for me, and I can say with full confidence that I did not choose wrong in staying at Shangri-la Rasa Ria. I contacted them prior to my visit about possibly helping me out with planning a surprise and celebrating the birthday, and the staff were all extremely supportive and cooperative in planning out the details. On the day of the surprise, we originally had planned to have them organized at one of the outdoor bars overlooking the sunset, but because of heavy rain, the staff all helped me reorganize them at the lobby bar, with the band singing the Happy Birthday Song together with the staffs and the other hotel guests joining in. The overall experience was also absolutely wonderful, and we enjoyed the 4 nights we stayed there. Perhaps if there is one thing to keep in mind, it would be its location, as it is situated about an hour's drive from the airport and the city center (if not more depending on the traffic).

This is the first and the last time we check in this Inn. Obviously can hear loud noise from outside from the room. Staffs voice are horrendously loud, howling laughing like no body business when it's already late at night. Played loud music until late night. Room are not sound proof, you can practically hear people conversation from outside and people walking around upstairs. Unless you can bear with all these by all means you can check in here.

Spacious room can fit my family it comes with 2 queen beds (3 adults + 2kids). Only one aircond but there was a hanging fan too. Old furniture and it would be better if renovate this apartment into modern looks. U have to pay parking rm3/parking and if U go out at the same day, U have to pay again for rm3. From the parking lot, U need to steps stairs then U ll find a lift lobby huh not recommended with bulky luggage.

This is a very clean hotel. They are doing renovations to maintain its quality. Front desk is very helpful. Rooms a nice clean and spacious. Breakfast is not huge but you won't go away hungry. Very close to several tasty restaurants and there is a coffee shop. Very nice mountain view at cafe level 6.

My Husband and I had previously stayed at the Nexus resort in 2016 and fell in love with this resort so decided to revisit for our mini honeymoon in April this year. We booked a garden view room with a free upgrade to an Ocean panorama room. The view from the room was beautiful. House keeping came every day couldn’t fault them, beds made and provided fresh bottles of drinking water each day. room has several USB ports in the desk which came in handy when our travel adapter didn’t work. However we did encounter a few hick-ups with the room. We spent 2 days without water in our room, and one with no hot water in the shower- once we were informed about due to maintenance, the second time there was no explanation for what had happened. Hot and sweaty from humid Malaysian weather our only option was a shower in the garden wing which apparently still had water- reception offered us a buggy from reception to the garden wing for a shower, however to apologise for the lack of water we were eventually offered after calling 3 times to find out why there was no water, we were offered a free dinner & invite to their cocktail hour at the Nexus club, which was quite nice. Happy Hour- every bar & restaurant had a happy hour- which according to the sign on the noticeboard it was 5-7 every day, however when we went to each of these bars they had a sign saying happy hour was a different time, so it got quite confusing they should really update these signs. Beds were comfy enough two types of pillows one hard and one soft, options to order more pillows through the “-Roomie App” which is also meant to contain movies and TV shows in the app which you then stream to the TV, however we weren’t Able to get this connected, so didn’t have any TV as normal TV channels were just static. Rooms are very dated and could use some maintenance. Pool temperature was amazing, and we had the pool to ourselves most days. Spa was closed for maintenance and looked like it had been for awhile which was sad. The pool itself needs needs some upkeep as the bottom of the pool was coming up, splashes pool bar didn’t appear to be open, last time we loved enjoying cocktails in the pool. Room rates included a buffet breakfast, that had a great selection malay dishes, fruit, cereal and pastries. Only downside is most of the time the hot dishes were very cold despite being in a warmer. Location: resort is located about 40 minutes away from the city- so if you plan to see things in Kota Kinabalu city be prepared to spend money on grab, taxi or use of the resort transportation to the city for 35RM pp each way. My advice is use the Taxi Limousine service MR Din is a lovely taxi driver at the nexus and his rates are very reasonable. Resort Activities: the resort offers on site activities to keep both adults and kids entertained such as nature walks, coconut leaf weaving & cooking classes. My partner and I really like this place very spacious room,bed is good but the ac is not that cold and some of the inside room structure really needed attention to be repaired,such as the bathroom some of the lights didn't work inside the room but the room got good window and the view in the morning is nice located at very quiet part of the town parking for car is a lot and convinient hotel also close to many convinient store around receptionist is very professional attending customer and friendly check in instructions are very clear and easy will look forward for future stay.

This nature mangrove homestay 1 i like this environment living in mangrove water house, in the morning there's many kind of birds wake me up I felt like so close to the nature 2 the room also comfortable, just the toilet too small 3 service I give 5star service Room amenities more than the price Overall I have good stay

Although the room is small but well set - clean & tidy. The buffet breakfast is fine the pricing is within expectation. The reception counter service is excellent - well coordinated. 👌 Improvement- the bedsheets need to replace if it has foul smell . Thank You.
