"Stayed for one night at Wendu Inn Hotel, Kota Belud and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Although this is a budget-friendly hotel, the room comes with a large 65-inch Smart TV, which is something I have not even found in some 4- or 5-star hotels in Kota Kinabalu. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The toilet was also clean and in good condition. Another plus point is the convenience of the surrounding facilities. Within the same building area, there is a mart selling essential items at reasonable prices, a stationery shop, a mini café, and a self-service laundry. Public toilets are also available, making the area feel like a small and convenient rest stop for travellers. One thing to note is that the hotel only has one floor and does not have a lift. However, this was not an issue for me, but it may be something to consider for guests who specifically require elevator access. Overall, excellent value for money, clean facilities, and very convenient amenities. I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Kota Belud. Rating: 5/5"
