Dolphin Bay Island Resort

The beach is very clean with crystal clear water. We came with 2 kids and they enjoyed playing on the beach and paddle board very much. We were prepared for some snacks for tea time upon arrival. Dinner and breakfast are very nice too. After dinner, there were some traditional shows, including sumazau dance and fire show! The kids are very amazed by the fire show and it was a very great experience. Most of all, we wanted to thank all the staff for being friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again in the future!

It is a great place to unwind, but it is highly overpriced and definitely not worth 4 stars. The rooms were basic but clean. There was ac and a refrigerator but no tv. They never cleaned the rooms in a 4 days stay, neither changed the towels or added toiletpaper. There was no shampoo or conditioner.  The staff was very friendly and made us extra snacks at high tea. When they provided dishes besides the buffet it was really ok, but the buffet ( breakfast and dinner) itself was not up to 4 star standard. They had beachchairs but no pillows on top or beachtowels. The mainbuilding is ok, but besides that it’s a total junkyard.  If you are afraid of dogs or monkeys, don’t go there, they are everywhere. We had a nice relaxed stay there because we don’t mind basic, but knowing how much we paid for it really hurted.

First of all,let's start with the booking process.all is smooth.the instructions to the location are smooth. BUT,my family was quite disappointed with this trip. For the price,i don't think this place should be called a resort. The place is already rundown. They are using the old pictures.the swimming pool no longer operating.no umbrella by the beach.no watersport activities. There is 1 block of abandoned building quite disturbing the whole view. The staff is not friendly,they should improve their service.but they are nice people. The curtain in the room is already torn out.but the room is clean. There are so many monkey. It is not safe to put your belongings at the beach while you out for swim. The highlight of this trip was the fire performance.please don't use the old pictures to sell this place called "resort".

The place is well kept. Staff are friendly. Nice place to relax and the food provided was great.
