We have just returned from a 9-night stay and overall had a fabulous holiday. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with one of the best sea views we have ever experienced. The rooms were modern, spotless, and beautifully designed, and the bathroom/shower setup was honestly to die for. We had a pool plunge room and it was stunning, and a nice change of not having to fight or get up early for sunbeds which was a welcome change - that said we noticed that yes the infinity pool beds did fill up quickly but the other 4 pools and beach sun-beds were available all day - on our last day we went to the beach at 12(midday) and managed to grab two sun-beds no issue and seemed to be a few clusters to choose from! So even if you do not have the luxury of sun-beds in room, I wouldn't be too bothered about being the early bird as beds were always avalible. The biggest highlight for us was definitely the atmosphere throughout the resort. The à la carte restaurants were beautiful, especially Dusk and the BBQ Den, which were both standout experiences for us. Amazing views, beautiful vibes, and a really special setting for an evening meal. There are many fantastic picture spots around the hotel too!! I was actually quite surprised when reading some recent reviews during our stay that described the food as “inedible” or “lukewarm,” because that was completely opposite to our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the food throughout our stay, including the buffet restaurant on the three nights we ate there. Even at the buffet (main dining restaurant) , you are still served a starter and main course, with only salads and desserts being buffet-style, which we thought worked really well. Every meal we had was enjoyable and always served hot, so if you are reading negative food reviews, I would definitely take them with a pinch of salt. The only real let-down for us, and the reason this wasn’t quite a perfect stay, was the service. At times it could be very slow, particularly when ordering drinks or meals. One occasion that really stood out was brunch at The Med, where we waited 27 minutes before anyone even came to take a drinks order despite being seated the entire time. However on our second stay we got served in under 5 mins so it really sometimes did seem luck of the draw! That said, towards the end of our stay, the service definitely seemed to improve and became noticeably quicker. We did go May 3rd - 12th so maybe with it still being slightly out of season the staff are trying to get up to speed or maybe the hotel even needs more staff because I’d hate to see what the service is like at peek season if we were a little bit underwhelmed with it whilst it has just recently opened. Overall though, this is still a fantastic 5-star resort in a breathtaking location, and we had an amazing time. We would definitely use Mitsis Resorts again and would happily recommend them to others. Some important things to note for others: •minibar is free and restocked everyd
