I just wrapped up a one-week stay at Kipriotis Maris Suites, and overall it was a really memorable experience with some highs and a few important lows. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking — the location alone makes this place feel like a true getaway. Everywhere you look is beautiful, and it creates such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. What stood out the most was the staff. Taylor, Emiliano, and Anna were incredible — genuinely kind, attentive, and they went above and beyond to make our stay special. They truly made a lasting impression on us. The restaurant manager was also amazing, although I can not recall her name. The food had some great moments, but also some inconsistencies. For example, the potatoes were amazing one day and undercooked the next, and we experienced the same with the chicken. That said, we really enjoyed Asian night and the pizza night — both were highlights. Entertainment was a big win. The kids club is honestly one of the best we’ve experienced at any resort. Water Zumba was a blast (and definitely a workout!), and we loved getting to be part of the Greek dancing. The live music was also a really nice touch. However, there was one very serious and alarming issue. My seven-year-old experienced a muscle cramp while swimming and began to struggle in the pool. I called for help, and while other guests quickly reacted and my husband jumped in to save her, the lifeguard never once looked up from his phone or attempted to help. This was extremely concerning and not something that should ever happen at a resort where safety is expected to be a priority. Overall, this resort has so much potential and many wonderful aspects, but that experience is something that cannot be overlooked.
