White Rock of Kos Hotel - Adults Only

What can I say, absolutely fantastic hotel. It felt very luxe. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel and were greeted from the coach I knew it was going to be great. The staff could not have been nicer, from reception to waiting staff and cleaners. Everyone so friendly and kind and couldn't do more for you. We personally loved the food. Breakfast was buffet style and covered everything. Dinner was served from a menu and everything was cooked beautifully. The pool area has spectacular views of the sea and the loungers was the most comfy I've ever used. Our room was fantastic and spacious we upgraded to a hottub balcony with the best views. Double showers were a nice touch. The location is the only downside. It is on a massive hill. 10 mins to walk to the beach but on a steep dirt track. 45 mins to walk to the harbour. The hotel charge €10 per trip to take or pick you up at any time but I think it should be provided free but on an hourly schedule. Overall I will definitely return

My husband and I have just come back from this lovely hotel, our daughter recommended it from her holiday last year. Everything was perfect - our room with our own pool, the restaurant staff so friendly and helpful, receptionists, bar staff, taxi drivers, room service. Nothing was too much trouble for them, made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the walk down through the wooded area to the local supermarket to stock up on water, we even walked up too! The walk along the sea front to the harbour was lovely, had a drink at a local bar and then got the hotel taxi back! Food at the hotel was superb, great choices off the menu every night. I have always said I would never go back to a place twice, but this one is so special. Looking forward to definitely going back. Thank you very much for such a memorable holiday.

Just back from our honeymoon to this amazing hotel..just beatiful..amazing staff,so attentive and friendly.food amazing ,we ate so much and the location looking out over the bay..just incredible...lovely room with swim up pool nd double shower..beautiful island...we loved our week here

Can only highly recommend this beautiful Hotel on the top of the hill with the amazing view. Even though we only paid for Room and Breakfast, because we arrived late in the evening, the staff had prepared a cold meal for us which was very appreciated. We stayed in a room with a Jacuzzi which had the most beautiful view overlooking Kefalos and the sea beyond. All staff were so friendly and helpful, we felt so welcomed. A big mention to the Bartender Dimitris, who was a fountain of knowledge and gave us some good tips on places to visit. All in all the Hotel and Staff were amazing. One tip I would give is, to hire a car as it’s a good way to see lots of the island and get out and about. The only recommendation for the hotel would be a different selection of breakfast would make it an outstanding hotel. Because after 10 days it felt like the breakfast was always the same every morning.

We had a fantastic time at the Hotel, which was quite quiet at the time. The Location is at the top of a hill, so be prepared! We personally enjoyed the walk to the beach through the little farm, but I can imagine at the height of summer, may be very hot/tiring! We hired a car, which allowed us to drive around to a number of other walks and beaches, and whilst the weather was not perfect for sunbathing, it was great for walking. The sea was lovely and warm, but the pool was bracing!!! We had a room with a jacuzzi, which was perfect for enjoying after a day out, looking over to Kastri Island and Nisyros. The thing that made this hotel was the service of the staff, who were all outstanding- for the Waitresses at the restaurant, to Dimitris in the bar, and the reception staff/porters, we were made to feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We were on Half board, which was great value. It allowed us a starter, main and desert from the menu, with an additional salad to share. We were there to celebrate a special birthday, and the atmosphere allowed us to thoroughly relax and enjoy the luxury of a la carte dining. Thank you to all the staff for this experience.

As already described in many reviews, White rock of Kos is situated on a hillside with panoramic views overlooking the bay & beyond. We arrived late due to our flight being delayed, but from that moment onwards it was the staff that shone throughout our holiday. Check in was quick, courteous & our bags quickly dispatched to our room.It was a pleasant surprise to see a meal of cold meats, cheese & salad awaiting us. The following morning at breakfast we meet the fabulous group of girls serving in the restaurant. Having traveled to many European hotels before, we can truly say that this group of girls stood out by far. So friendly & efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Once they got to know you they would remember your tastes, room number & stop to talk about your day. It was a pleasure when they talked about themselves, family & the island of Kos. On our departure day, those on duty said their goodbyes with hugs & well wishes, just perfect. We wish to thank all of the remaining staff who would always greet you & with a smile. We had a jacuzzi suite which was very comfortable, amazing views, sun beds & lounge chairs on the balcony. Having booked half board we were not disappointed with the selection of food both at breakfast & in the evening. Dinner is a la carte & on occasions have to wait a little longer between courses when busy. The meals were well presented & very tasty. Most of the time accompanied with Mediterranean vegetables, occasionally carrots & broccoli. Drinks prices reflected similar hotel prices, but not over the top. The pool, all be it cold at first when you entered, was in an ideal position from which you could take in the views. Very comfortable thick sun loungers of which there was always plenty free & no towels reserving them! Out & about - the walk down to the beach is doable but steep in places. Head for the tennis court & pass through the gate, down the unofficial path, which leads through a friendly gentleman’s allotment, before a short lane to Jim’s supermarket with its friendly staff & great supply of provisions. The walk back up is a challenge, but doable with water breaks in between. We are both in our mid 60’s but coped. Turning right along the beach is a very pleasant walk with taverns & places to swim. Continuing further you eventually reach Cavos which takes just over an hour each way. In the opposite direction it does get very busy on the beach with areas being private for other hotels. Kos town is just over an hour by bus which stops close to Jim’s supermarket at 5.20 euros each way. Summing up you will not be disappointed with White rock of Kos. If you are after peace & quite this is the place for you.

Wow, what an amazing 11 days we had in this gorgeous hotel. The staff or on point 💯 of the time. So friendly and welcoming. We had room 311 with a hot tub. It was amazing with the best views. We ordered room service two nights and it was delicious. If you are considering this hotel then just book, you will not be disappointed. Thank you White Rock. We will be back 🫶🏻

Our second visit to this beautiful hotel. Everything was perfect - the room, the views, the food and most importantly the staff who couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay so memorable. Going again next year and we cannot wait 😊

This is hands-down the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were so friendly. The rooms and communal areas were spotless. We never had to ‘reserve’ or battle for a sun bed around the pool; there was always some available and it was never busy, so was great for relaxing. It can get windy in the afternoons. We had the junior suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony. The balcony was huge with a table and chairs, two sun loungers and the jacuzzi which was great to go in at night and look out at the view. The hotel is situated high up. We were able to walk down a path to the amenities (about a 10 minute walk) but got lifts back up. The hotel staff were always on hand to offer lifts and we never had to wait long. This was at a cost of 10€ per room each way, but would be worth it for those who may struggle with the hard climb back up to the hotel. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and it was my favourite meal that we ate all week, so I would recommend this. The breakfast buffet selection also caters for everyone and you’ll never go hungry! This is a bright, modern hotel with fantastic staff that I would highly recommend to anyone! We will be returning!
