- excellent update after the renovation (I stayed at this hotel in 2024) - wonderful accomodations - fantastic, friendly and helpful staff!!! - one of the best beaches for snorkeling - Breakfasts are served from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM à la carte. There is an excellent diving center next to the hotel, so if you are going to dive early in the morning, you can have breakfast at 7:00 AM or after returning to the hotel (it is so convenient)

Recommend for those who likes a private peaceful stay and loves snorkeling. We had a very good time while staying in this hotel. Staffs are very kind and engaging! It’s our first time in Koh Tao and  we have wonderful experience!

Good breakfast! Transfer from the pier to the hotel for a small fee. Renting a scooter is highly recommended, as there's nothing on the side of the island where the hotel is located. We even saw a baby shark while snorkeling on the beach! All in all, a top-notch stay :)

We came here based on reviews and didn't expect it to be this nice! Everything was perfect. This single accommodation has absolutely everything. Room: The room was very clean, and the bed was so soft and comfy I barely wanted to leave it – I slept so well! Staff: Everyone provided excellent service, always smiling and cheerful. They treated us like family or friends, recommending things without us even having to ask. Atmosphere: The surroundings are very peaceful. There's a private beach with plenty of activities: volleyball, table tennis, snorkeling, island hopping by small boat, jumping rock, and even scuba diving lessons. Kayaking is also available. They have so many services, all in one place! We'll definitely be back to stay again next time. #The accommodation is in Tanote Bay, towards the end of the island, but it's absolutely the best!

It’s on the other side of the island, so if you want to go to the “downtown” it’s about $15 USD each way. That adds up. The sand is very rocky and uncomfortable on the feet but once you get in the ocean, it’s nice water but salty. Service was mid. They would talk about us in Thai laugh, and it would get awkward. We went to the restaurant one night well before last call and the server was mad and frustrated that we came to eat. Gave us so much attitude for no reason. All in all, it was an ok experience, it’s a one and done for me. Would stay somewhere else next time

I had an amazing stay at LUB-D Tanote Bay Hotel in Koh Tao! The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. The whole team was super helpful and friendly — especially Dear, who greeted us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome. The rooms were spotless, and the direct access to beautiful Tanote Bay is just incredible. One of the best hotels I’ve seen in Koh Tao — highly recommend it!

I booked this sea-view room with my girl friend during February and it was amazing! The room itself was cozy and impeccably clean, offering a stunning view of Tanote Bay that made our stay truly special. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service from the staff. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. A special shoutout to K.Dear, K.Ting, and K.Kiat, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience.
