The villa vacation package with 4 rooms in the whole building is so wonderful and great value for money. I stayed for 2 nights for 10,000 yuan per night with breakfast. At the five-star Nola five-star resort spa next door, you can go to the restaurant to have dinner at your own expense, which is high-end.

The hotel staff provided good service and carefully explained the precautions. The hotel can rent motorcycles for convenient travel. The facilities are a bit old, but the price is affordable. It is a good choice for mid-priced hotels in Koh Samui. I had breakfast provided by the hotel during my two-day stay. However, if you see ants in the pool while swimming, be careful about getting bitten. I also hope that hotel rooms will be equipped with international plugs. The pillow height felt too high while sleeping and there were no other pillow options. There are also bugs in the room. I hope pest control work can be done.

I waited for more than an hour before a staff member came to check in. This was the first time I encountered this situation in Thailand! The staff was very enthusiastic. The room was a very old Thai-style villa, but the facilities were still very complete. The villa was on the beach, and the beach was not a fine sandy beach.

Very good accommodation, next to the sea, but no beach. In front of the accommodation is a beautiful rock formation next to the sea. Quiet. The condition of the accommodation is not new anymore. But overall very good, the staff are very friendly, the service is very good.

I stayed there ten years ago and it was just as good as last time. It's worth the price and comes with a swimming pool suitable for children to play. The depth is only 1.2m which is very safe. There are three types of breakfast to choose from.

The room is very big. It is a first-line villa facing the sea. It is very nice to lie down and watch the night view at night. It is very cost-effective for 8 people.

The overall feeling is okay, the room is large and there is a swimming pool. Although I didn't go swimming personally, the overall atmosphere is very good. The breakfast in this restaurant is a set menu, with three types, each of which is delicious. The hotel staff are very nice and patient. You can also ask the clerk about renting a car. You can rent a car from the hotel.

The area is very large, suitable for a family to travel, and the kitchen is also very convenient. The only drawback is that the mattress is hard and the pillows are too high, making sleeping very uncomfortable. The beach is right outside the door and it's very quiet at night. It is suitable for vacation, but there are not many restaurants or supermarkets around, so it is suitable for staying in a hotel, not for shopping, and the beach is not very clean. The breakfast was pretty good, with a lot of choices and it was freshly made. When taking a taxi, you must use indrive.

The room is very nice...unique with its own pool! The breakfast was delicious. The staff very friendly. Only the location was a bit out of the way and the beach was very dirty.

The effect of Covid-19 on tourism in Thailand is still being tragically felt. On Koh Samui there are abandoned resorts and some which have already been bulldozed. Meanwhile, those remaining eke out an existence with vastly reduced patronage. It is with this in mind that I review Pawanthorn Villas, where we recently stayed. Ours was the largest 4 bedroom villa and, although a little tired, it served our purpose admirably. The 4 x bedrooms all had separate external entry which enabled plenty of privacy amongst our group of 8 adults. Each bedroom was well appointed and with a generous en-suite. The beds were large and comfortable and the towels were changed daily. Some of the electrical work would not pass inspection in Australia, but it was out of the way and posed no threat. The large dining/lounge became our main communal area and the 2 x air conditioners kept the Thai heat and humidity under control. The fabulous pool became our other communal area and was appreciated by all. We booked through Air B&B, so daily breakfast was provided at the adjoining restaurant Chez Kun Ying and the menu was extensive. They even opened early on a couple of occasions because we had an early tour booked. We also had dinner there and were pleasantly surprised. Chaweng Beach, with its abundance of restaurants, bars and night-life, is 2.7 kilometres away, too far to walk with no footpath but easily accessible via taxi or hailing a tuk tuk which are constantly cruising past. We hired a minivan and appreciated the convenience that it provided but, when needed, tuk tuk's were excellent for our party of 8 and the 200 Baht fare (just under Aussie$9) was reasonable. There are a number of different sized pool villa's ranging from our 8 person to 2 person. We found the staff to be delightfully helpful, friendly and eager to please. Pawanthorn is not perfect but the shortcomings are few and easily overcome. As patronage increases, we hope that a freshen-up would correct any issues and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.
