Amarin Samui Hotel

The hotel is a bit dated, but the pool is clean. It's a worn-out hotel, far from everything but right on the main road! The first thing that surprised me was that you enter the room through the bathroom 😄. The room has everything you need, and coffee, tea, and water were provided daily. Overall, for the price we paid, everything was fine. It's about a 15-minute walk to the sea, and the beach is clean. We rented a motorbike from an Indian guy on the way to the beach for 250 Baht a day, only needing a cash deposit, no passport like many places ask for. Nearby there's an evening market with various delicious and affordable food options, a 7/11, laundry service, and massage places 👍🏼. You can get to Chinatown for 300.

The hotel is really showing its age. The air conditioning had no controls. The shower was an adventure in itself. On the positive side, the owner agreed to move our reservation dates. But the room quality wasn't great. I found eyelashes on the lampshade on the second day, and they definitely weren't mine! 😂

As described. Everything was fine for a short trip. Despite being right on the main road, it was very quiet.

Good hotel, the room has everything you need, including complimentary water, a kettle, tea/coffee, and a hairdryer. The only downside is the poor soundproofing; there's noise from both the road and the surrounding area, and a rooster starts crowing like crazy from 4 AM.

The location is right on a busy main road, so there's a lot of traffic as soon as you step out. It can be quite stressful and not ideal for a relaxing vacation. However, it would be much more suitable for business travelers. The facilities inside are a bit outdated, but the price reflects that. It's not close to the beach, which makes it less suitable for family trips.
