Had a wonderful stay in koh samui, the resort is a bit old but very well kept. Food was nice in flames restaurant but inconsistent in terms of food service and quality. The rooms are nice and relaxing however on our 3rd day in their pool villa, we were bitten by bed bugs. We have been avoiding swimming in the beach because of jelly fish season but ended up having skin problems. We have reported to the reception that we were bitten by bed bugs and they just told us that they will inform the house keeping team. It’s very unusual for a top notch resort to have bed bugs. No action was taken, we have emailed the resort as soon as we got back home but still no reply. My recommendation is to be careful when booking coz even they have byredo amenities it still comes with bed bugs. Especially for families traveling with children. We had to go to the doctor and have some medications (including shots) to remedy our condition. I don’t think this hotel cares even you are staying with them. Too bad, I would highly recommend but after getting this condition you have to think twice

Everything here is excellent! Lovely staff especially the one at Kayak station a lovely boy with great service mind. Kayaking at the evening is a must for sunset and view of 5 islands! Isolation is pure luxury indeed!

Great stay! We chose InterContinental mainly for the kids' club, which was perfect for childcare. Plus, there were free activities like kayaking. The Flame restaurant was decent, nothing spectacular, but offered stunning sunset views. The beach, however, was quite rough and hurt our feet, though the scenery itself was absolutely beautiful.

The room was fantastic, super spacious at over 200 square meters, perfect for families. It had a lovely vintage wooden design. There were tons of pools; the infinity pool was great for photos, and the sandy pool was perfect for playing. There were also a few smaller pools that were good for snapping pictures. The whole place is built into the cliffside, right by the mountains and the sea, offering stunning cliff views and beach features. The spa is at the very top. I highly recommend catching the sunset, it's absolutely beautiful.

I stayed in a two-bedroom villa, and the twin room constantly had a sewage-like musty smell, which made my stay very uncomfortable for several days. The other room was fine. Everything else was good, but this issue really bothered me, and contacting the staff didn't resolve it.

This hotel is located on a hill, and aside from the inflated prices during the Chinese New Year holiday, I highly recommend it for a regular stay. I booked a club sea-view room for my parents, which was quite far from the club private pool villa we booked. The reception staff (a lady) was very nice and upgraded us to the same room type, practically next to each other. Club room guests can enjoy executive lounge services in the area shown in photo one. There's a shuttle bus service to the rooms, and the back door of the room leads directly to the beach 🏖️. The rooms and amenities are excellent, super suitable for a vacation.
