Our room was lovely and lived up to all expectations. It was comfortable, clean, and very pleasant overall. The hotel restaurant also pleasantly surprised us – the food was delicious, and the service there was also very attentive.
However, it is unfortunately noticeable that the hotel as a whole is showing its age. The gardens and pool area, in particular, appear to be in need of renovation and are no longer quite up-to-date. There are certainly more modern three-star hotels on Koh Phangan now that have a fresher and more contemporary feel.
Nevertheless, the excellent service, the friendliness of the staff, and the beautiful room more than compensated for this. We would definitely book the hotel again and can recommend it – especially for travelers who value warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere.
