Baan Suan Homestay Koh Kood

A nice hotel with its own charm. We loved the spacious room, the helpful hostess, and the amazing breakfasts. One downside: there's NO refrigerator in the huge room, which was a real letdown. I understand the hostess is against eating, drinking, or storing food in the rooms; there are designated areas with 24-hour access to hot water, coffee, tea, and even alcohol. We eventually found a refrigerator, but it was at reception (open until 6:00 PM). The location is good: the beach is within walking distance (a 10-minute walk). There are also cafes, and you can have lunch at the hostess's place; they have a small menu. However, you have to drive to get to the activities (bars, restaurants, markets). We also rented a motorbike directly from the hostess—a very nice bike, delivered right to the hotel, and paid for it right there, without any contracts or deposits.

It's a homestay that is next to each other. The room is spacious, has complete facilities, the room is clean. There may be old furniture, but overall it's okay. The owner is very cute, very kind, helping to take care of us throughout our stay. Breakfast is delicious. The accommodation is far from Bang Bao Beach at a distance that is walkable, but a bit tiring. There are 3-4 restaurants around. Overall, very impressed. If there is a chance, will go back to stay again.

We had a rest in March 2025, cozy home hotel, delicious breakfast to choose from. Nearby, about 10 minutes walk, a very beautiful beach, also next to the hotel a good massage parlor. The hostess is very friendly, always ready to help, agreed with another hotel to pick us up and transport us to another hotel for free.

Stayed for four nights. The lady boss is very enthusiastic and a very nice person. She cooks delicious food. You must try the tamagoyaki rice cooked by the lady boss at her house. The room is very cozy and feels like home. They also thoughtfully provided umbrellas. There is a Burmese employee named Zarni who works very hard and cleans very well.

Very good guest house, small number of rooms, privacy felt. Also liked the location, close to Bang Bao beach, delicious breakfasts (6 types to choose from: American breakfast, smoothie and yogurt bowls, waffles, pancakes, fruit options). The hostess and staff are wonderful, always happy to help. Of the minuses - strong audibility of neighbors behind the wall.
