Arima Onsen Gekkoen Yugetsusanso

I've been here to see the cherry blossoms for 16 years and was very impressed with the hotel, it's very comfortable! Traditional Japanese hotel with great service! The meals were also great! I would recommend friends to go there, and seeing the maple leaves should be beautiful too!

A very Japanese-style hotel, the sleeping experience on the tatami is very comfortable. Although the hotel is old, it is well maintained overall. The room was cleaned spotlessly and the service was very considerate. In early spring, the garden scenery is a bit dim, but I feel that the whole landscape will be more vivid in late spring and early summer when the flowers in the garden bloom or in late autumn when the trees turn deep red. I have not experienced the hotel's meals and cannot provide a valid evaluation. The front desk told me that the hotel's private hot springs are hot water, and only the three public hot springs are hot spring water. The hot spring pool next to the river is a great experience. When I go to soak in the evening, there is no one there. It has a unique artistic conception surrounded by mountains and rivers. The hotel is very close to the Arima Onsen Ropeway Station. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk. You can take the cable car to the Rokko Mountain Observation Deck to overlook the city of Kobe. The price of a taxi from Arima Onsen Hot Spring Station to the hotel is about 700 yen. The hotel has a shuttle bus. However, when we arrived at Arima Station at 8 o'clock on the day of arrival, no one answered the call to the hotel. This was the only drawback.

Gekkoen Yuzuki Villa does have a sense of age. Although the room is old but clean, it is the same as the Japanese-style room Isshiki I stayed in 10 years ago. The breakfast and dinner included in the one-night-and-two-board package were both very good. There was a buffet for breakfast and a set of staple dishes + semi-buffet for dinner. It lasted until takeoff and was very comfortable. There are 3 hot spring pools, and they are not private baths and do not require reservations like Zhuzitei. 1) The largest one in Honglukan, gold hot spring (open-air) + silver hot spring (indoor); 2) Crane hot spring and turtle hot spring are medium, golden hot spring (open-air) + Ginyu (indoor) (the female baths are all indoors, not open-air); 3) Afu Yuboyu, Jinyu (only open-air, no indoors, even showering is open-air), the bathing pools are very comfortable. It's not far from the station and the main commercial street. You can call the hotel anytime and the car will be there within 10 minutes. It's a 3-minute drive.

The service of the hotel staff was very good. We stored our luggage in advance and were picked up and dropped off by a special car. The hotel was very clean and there were three hot springs. The food was also self-service and you could eat as much as you wanted. It was a wonderful trip.
