Guesthouse Geragera

This is my second time staying at this place. I stayed very late last time, but the local Japanese people have a strong sense of service, are polite, and speak slowly. I feel so good that I will stay here for the second time.

The B&B is located near Nishimaiko Station. There are many restaurants around. It is right on the seaside and you can see the Akashi Kai Ohashi Bridge. The bridge is lit up at night🌉, and during the day you can hear the waves🌊. The environment is good. The service attitude of the staff is also very good. They are a group of young people who will help with luggage. Fortunately, I was the only one in the room that night, otherwise it might have been a bit crowded. The room will have a little smell.

Two 10-person dormitories are available. If you don't have BBQ, there's a lot of noise from 6pm to 9pm, which can make it unsettling, so have dinner at Kura Sushi during that time. I try to come back after 9pm. Previously, overnight guests could use the private beach for free the next day, but this year it costs 500 yen per person until 1pm, and an additional 500 yen if you use it after that. The beach is narrow and gets deep quickly, so children need to be careful. 　 Also, the beach is crowded with BBQ customers all day long. During the day, jet skis come in and out of the swimming area, which is the most dangerous part. I've been using it for five years in a row, but the facility is getting pretty old. Last year we had a 4-person dormitory, but the easiest one is a 10-person dormitory. Since it's along the road, the sound of trains, cars, and motorcycles can be a concern, so bring earplugs. 　 Also, there are no convenience stores nearby, so we recommend buying drinks and snacks to bring with you at the supermarket. 　 I feel that the staff service has deteriorated since the beginning. 　 The BBQ is in full swing and there are quite a lot of people in the morning, afternoon, and evening, so the staff is fully occupied there. 　 By the way, there are no parasols available for rent for guests, so a simple tent for tanning is a must-have item.

I was looking for a cheap hotel to stay near Akashi Station. I found a guesthouse like those overseas that was almost exactly what I wanted, and I was grateful that I had the place to myself. If I had to say one thing, it would be that the trains pass nearby, so you wake up early in the morning. It would have been nice if they had rental earplugs. It would also be nice if they had tissue boxes on hand.

It was along the national highway, so the noise of the traffic was loud unless you put your head on the side of the road.
