On arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff! Very efficient and friendly! The only set back is the Onsen amenities! The pool is extremely small and not what I expected!

We had a wonderful stay here. The Osen, facilities , services were good however the room setup lighting would need some upgrade for better ambience & mood on such a nice setting & locations as it does not have cove effect, dimming or warm light.

The price/performance ratio is extremely low. The hotel facilities are the lowest among all the places I have visited in Japan. I highly do not recommend it. 5000+ for three people a night, the shuttle bus will not come to pick you up until after 3 o'clock. I see that other hotels in the hot spring area have on-demand shuttle services. It's a very ordinary, old tatami room. The area is not very large. There is a thick layer of dust on the air-conditioning outlet. When the heater is turned on, there is a strange smell in the whole room. If you mind the smell of oil smoke, don't choose this place. You can only eat dinner in the room. The smell of fried steak and shabu-shabu is hard to dissipate... My fingers wrinkled after soaking in the hotel's golden hot spring for less than 15 minutes. I suspect it was diluted with water... There was no ice water, drinks or popsicles to cool down after soaking in the hot spring. The service of the reception staff is average. The front desk staff is smiling but not smiling. The next morning after breakfast, I returned to the room and the tatami was still there, but no one helped to put it away. The quality of dinner was normal, nothing memorable, the portion was filling enough, there was salmon hot pot and grilled Tajima steak, the presentation looked cheap 😅 the view outside the window might be better during the maple leaf season, but now it is just an ordinary mountain view 👀 if the room rate per capita is over 1000, it is recommended not to choose this place. (It is also possible that the cost-effectiveness of the whole Arima Onsen one night two meals is so low)

It was worth the trip~~!!! Although it is on the mountain, there is a car to take you to the town at the foot of the mountain. You can make an appointment for a private bath every hour, but there is actually no one in the public bath~ Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all very rich and impeccable~ You can also experience Yukata and tatami. There is a service staff who works in Taiwan and helped us translate throughout the whole process. Very nice and took care of us. Very suitable for children~ You can go to the official website to check it out. The various children's facilities are amazing! ! ! The children had a lot of fun.
