Chada Lanta Beach Resort

Overall the experience is above average, room size is great and spacious, facilities all still fine week keep maintain although it’s low seasons. Provided breakfast is fair and good, nothing much to complain.

Beautiful sprawling hotel .. got lost a couple of times within the grounds ..lots of swimming pools to choose from but they close at 6pm and were very strongly chlorinated .. food was good , we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets .. the beach felt private which was nice .. we booked the family room which was on the 3rd floor and was surprised there wasn't any lifts .. thankfully the bellboys helped carry our luggage up (after check in ) and down (when we check out ) .. also all the shower area were see through .

We had a silver room and it was very much. Couldn't believe how big it was. And a great bath! We came here to chill, therefore it would have been nice if the TV was a smart TV with apps such as you tube or Netflix on. You do share with pool with some big cute lizards. Food was fine. Recommend for a relaxing break.

Stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the hotel on the beach. That is a very large resort, and nothing to complain about. Nice personnel, large room (suite) with soft and comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was great. Immense pool with a couple of 2m long lezards using it as we did ! Not to worry, there are surprising pets. However, had the surprise of spotting a 7m long massive pyton on our way back to our room at night. A potential thread to kids if left unattended (and adults as well). It was captured and released in the forest. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

Our 1st stay at Chada Lanta Resort and we’re already planning to come back!😍 The pool is amazing and great for kids. The location is perfect..just a short walk to the beach and close to local attractions. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a great place to chill. Highly recommended!

Front desk not very welcoming when check in. Did the job checking in and explaining the deposit, room, breakfast restaurant, beach location. Issued us the room key and informed us the room direction, then we realised the check in is completed and we can be on the way to the room (1st time without hotel staff of this type/size of resort bringing us, not a big deal). Strangely one staff did "pop up" after we left the reception building, offer to bring us to the room. We rejected since we figured we can manage. One good point is we get to check in earlier than the designated time. Room has unpleasant smell when first enter, but got use to it after a day (after house keeping next day). Room size is big, has a bath tub (did not use), a bed room and living room. No TV in bed room, TV in living room but limited TV program. Have two huge pool, one among the blocks, one nearer to the beach. Initial impression was not great, but after a few days, got used and get to enjoy the stay. Good location (good local restaurants, convenient store, laundry shop nearby), great pool, breakfast consider ok but could be better. Stayed during the end of the popular season, resort not crowded. Will I stay again? Yes, for the pool and during low season, less tourists. No, will try out other resorts along the same stretch of the beach.
