Lanta Riviera Beach Resort

The hotel offers very friendly and welcoming staff who make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. It is beautifully and idyllically located, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast is excellent, featuring fresh bread from a German bakery, which makes it especially delicious and memorable. Overall, a wonderful place to stay that I would highly recommend

I booked a bungalow and when I checked in they assigned me a family room, not to mention that they changed my room twice. On the top floor there were children running around all night like horses and next to them two twins crying all night long, horrible. I went to complain at reception explaining that I had booked a bungalow and they told me that they didn't have one. I tried to look for another resort to go to and I didn't find one at this time of the season. These things are announced and then it's up to me to accept or not stay. I had been staying at this resort for many years, it was one of the best on the island, but the new management is very bad, they have turned this resort into a horrible theme park for children!

This was really a relaxing place to visit and stay in with friends. The price was reasonable and the interior of the resort was great. It's clean and tidy with big rooms, air condition, flat TV, and and safe in the room. Bamboo, banana and coconut trees everywhere all around the place. The restaurant is on the beach so you can enjoy a great sunset view or an early dope. Personal are polite and helpful and they have some night activities and pool bar.

Different from many evaluations – we absolutely love this place! We stayed in a room next to the pool, bar and restaurant and had the best time ever. We were four young girls travelling so we did not mind music all day and party at night. We could basically jump into the pool from the bungalow which was freshly renovated and furnished when we arrived. Very clean, comfy, trendy, modern and lovely – we felt like home. Aircon is working very well, staff is so friendly – special greetings to Pum, the best and lovliest receptionist in the world♥! Great service, lots of opportunities for trips, airport and bus service, motorbike rent etc.....Freedom bar close to the pool is a crazy, funny and fabulous place to spend relaxed nights on Lanta. Amazing fireshows, yummy drinks, great people and perfect atmosphere. For us: THE best place in Thailand we actually do not want to recommend to keep it as our favourite and secret place ;) But, if you happen to be there, do not miss Lanta Riviera Resort and Freedom Bar!!! Kop Khun Kha!!!

I have been visiting this resort for 15 years, it has changed for the better each year. The staff and owners are very frendly. The rooms are very good for the price. It's bar is the best known for parties in Ko Lanta, Freedom Bar. Highly recommended.

I've stayed during 9 days at Lanta Riviera and we had a great time there! Very clean, good restaurant, friendly staff! Our bungalow with fridge and aricon was very spacious. Wifi is free in the common areas. The island is beautiful and calm, if you look for paties go to another place, but they have a very nice bar where you can enjoy the sunset. If I ever visit again Ko Lanta I would stay in Lanta Riviera.

Pleasantly surprised by the size of rooms in this resort when booking a triple room. It was private, spacious, large terrace and comfortable. We were fortunate that our room was on the 1st floor as all ground floor rooms are totally visible through their large glass windows which look onto the front porch. This means that the porch and bedroom are completely visible from the walkway from which all rooms are accessed, and since it leads down to the restaurant, pool, bar and beach will be heavily used during the peak season. The room was disappointing when it came to cleanliness since it was 80% clean. Since a hotel room welcomes so many guests nothing but top notch cleanliness is acceptable. We had a wood lice visibly digging into the bed frame, floor had plenty of footprints and some stains, bathroom drain near toilet was not completely clean with someone's cigarette butt still there, etc. The staff are lovely and so helpful, that they compensated for the shortfalls. Pool area small yet pretty, restaurant food ok, and the beach accessed directly from the restaurant/bar/massage area. This beach is large and stretches for quite a few kilometres. The fun part is that during the touristic season one is spilt for choice with different restaurants and bars facing out directly on the beach.
