"Location is excellent. Less than 5 mins walk to mall and JR station. Service by front desk is impeccable. The front desk is most helpful with the check in and assisted us with our carpark parking validation many times as we drive in and out often. A male staff took a map and show us the restaurants nearby where we can have our meals. On our check out day; he even offer to help us take photos and assisted with our luggages."

"This hostel has some genuinely strong points, but also several issues that stop it from being a great stay. It’s very much a mix of highs and lows. The positives: The common room is comfortable, with very good sofas and fast Wi-Fi (though it occasionally drops out — a router upgrade would easily fix this). There’s a shared kitchen with a labelled fridge, and the location is excellent for exploring Nagasaki. Dorm rooms are good value for the price. Bed spaces are a decent size, with excellent blackout curtains that block light even if others leave the lights on. You also get a small lockbox for valuables. The negatives: Check-in is fully self-service with no reception. You’re given a folder with rules and keys, but if you need help, there’s no clear support — which can be stressful, especially for travellers without phone SIMs. There is no lift. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the narrow stairs make carrying luggage difficult. Facilities per floor are also limited: only one toilet and one shower shared between multiple dorms, plus the washer and dryer on the same floor, which feels insufficient and awkward. Extras are all paid separately (towels, toothbrushes, earplugs, etc.). A towel really should be included at this price. Guests are also expected to ***** their own bedsheets at checkout, which feels excessive. The common room layout could be improved. A large hammock takes up space and reduces seating — replacing it with chairs or bar seating would make the area far more usable. There were also staff or long-term workers frequently occupying the common room, which made the space feel less guest-focused. Air conditioning is locked and cannot be adjusted, so if you’re too hot or cold, you have no control. Would I stay again? As a backpacker on a very tight budget, yes — tahe location and price make it workable. But if you can afford it, I’d recommend paying more for a private room nearby. There are many hotels in the area offering much better comfort and support."

"The room was clean and decent but the shower smells like mould. Not sure what caused it but it seems like once you get the shower going it improves. There was a washing machine in the room, which was very nice as we didn’t have to go out to do laundry’s the hotel is close to the old Dutch street and there is a very nice place for dinner near by 五島うどんと酒と肴 椿屋. Highly recommended. We all enjoy the food, sake and price was very decent"

"A very clean, professionally run, well-managed place in a convenient location. They allowed us to change our room on the first night because of a slight smell, which was very kind. The second room had no issues. We appreciated having a bathroom with a drying function, since that made it possible to dry our clothes. My only minor criticism is that the pots in the kitchen were non-stick ones that were scorched and scratched, and there were no larger plates."

"Nagasaki Jjanjjan First of all, I prepared everything you can take with you, including mommy and everything else. The location is very good, it's spacious, and you can even cook simple meals. Above all, the space was great for the price. The check-in time was a little late, but you can leave your luggage, so I came back more quickly than I expected."

"The hostel is nice with a nice layout that gives you some privacy. However since every bed has its own light people just kept it on the whole night so I couldn’t sleep. Also the dormitory is small and showers and toilets are inside the room and people started to use the hairdryer early in the morning. The owners are nice tho, and when I complaint they gave me an eye mask as a gift which was very thoughtful. Location is great."

"위치는 차이나타운에서 공항 버스 내리면 도보로 5분. 위치는 나가사키 역으로 가는것보다 훨씬 더 낫다고 생각합니다. 호텔이 아니지만 가이드가 잘 되어 있어서 입구를 찾는데 어렵지 않고 가이드대로 따라 하면 체크인 절차도 어렵지는 않습니다. 제일 불편한 것은 대한항공 타면 아침 일찍 도착하는데 오후 세 시까지 체크인을 기다려야 하고 시설내에 캐리어를 보관할 곳이 없기 때문에 아주 치명적인 단점 입니다. 캐리어를 보관하고자 하시는 분은 버스 터미널 안에 코인 락커가 있으니까 거기에 보관하시면 됩니다. 내가 묵어야 할 방을 청소하고 있는 모습을 보았는데 그 전에 숙박 했던 사람이 정말 너무 더럽게 썼더러구요. 쓰레기랑 이런게 너무 장난이 아니었습니다. 그게 제대로 청소가 잘 이루어졌을지 상당히 찝찝한 채로 지내기는 했습니다. 객실 슬리퍼가 차라리 일회용이면 좋을텐데 계속 쓰는 슬리퍼라 제대로 세척이 되었는지 확인할 길이 없어서 제 개인 슬리퍼 시용했습니다. 수건은 정말로 딱 콤팩트하게 사용할 수 있을 만큼의 갯수만 있는데 추가적으로 사용하게 되면 직접 빨아서 써야 합니다. 그런데 건조기가 없고 헹거나 건조 시설이 없습니다. 물론 옷걸이가 있기는 하지만 거기에 수건을 널어놓는 것은 적절해 보이지가 않았습니다. 숙박하기 며칠전 이 부분에 대해서 시설 측에 문의 했는데 답변 듣지 못했습니다. 지금 나열한 점 외에는 단점은 없습니다. Wi-Fi도 잘 되고 티비도 잘 나오고 냉장고도 냉장,냉동 다 잘 되고 싱크대도 있고 에어콘, 히터, 그리고 전기 콘센트도 엄청 많았고 창문도 많았고 다 잘 열렸고 방도 넓고 침대도 넓고 쇼파도 있고 화장실, 욕실 다 좋았습니다."

"The location is a bit uphill, but it's not too far, so it's suitable, and the owner is very kind. The only thing is that the bed is a little uncomfortable. It feels like two mattresses were combined into one, so I couldn't sleep well. The bathroom and shower aren't in a separate room, but are in the space next to the bed, so if you come in late and wash up, you'll be really self-conscious."
