"Great value for money, though it's a bit far from the subway station. However, taking a bus is actually quite convenient. Also, the South Asian convenience store clerk at the nearby Lawson has a really poor attitude; I've seen a lot of bad reviews for them on Google Maps. The room was quite spacious, not like the typical Toyoko Inn size, and the amenities were good, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom."

"I highly recommend this place! The room was very spacious, I could easily open two 24-inch suitcases. It came with a microwave, washing machine, and a small fridge. The hotel is within walking distance of Tenjin Underground Mall, Mitsukoshi, and Daimaru. The entire hotel is new and very clean. On the second floor, the front desk offers various disposable amenities and free coffee. Breakfast is served at the Italian restaurant on the first floor; the selection isn't huge but the food is really tasty. There's no extra charge for kids under elementary school age, and that includes breakfast too. The ladies at the front desk were all very friendly. Seriously, this hotel was such a pleasant surprise!"

"After booking, I tried to enter the reservation number I received via KakaoTalk into the kiosk upon arrival at the hotel, but it wouldn't go through. For travelers who don't speak the local language, having to converse with locals, especially over the phone, is incredibly inconvenient. Despite that, I managed to get the corrected reservation number using my limited English and Japanese and eventually checked in. Please fix this. Starting off with an inconvenience right after arriving immediately gives a negative impression of the entire hotel."

"I came to Fukuoka for a city walk, and here's my review of the hotel: 1. **Location & Transportation:** The hotel's location is excellent! It's super convenient, with two subway entrances nearby. When coming from the airport, we took the Hakozaki Line, and the exit led directly to the hotel without needing to cross the road. For the return trip to the airport, the Kuko Line stop was just across the street. Very easy! The hotel is situated in Nakasu. The Ichiran Ramen main store is right next door – that was our first meal in Fukuoka, and there was even a queue outside. From the hotel, it's a short walk (3-4 minutes) to Tenjin Central Park, 15-20 minutes to Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall, and within a 30-minute walk to Canal City, Nakasu Yatai (food stalls), Nakasu walking street, Kushida Shrine, Tocho-ji Temple, and more. For further sights like Fukuoka Castle Ruins, Ohori Park, and Fukuoka Tower, it's just a few subway stops away. It's also very convenient to take the train from Nishitetsu Tenjin Station (South) to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine (with a transfer at Futsukaichi). Hakata Station is only two subway stops away. 2. **Nearby Food:** There are so many great food options around the hotel! I highly recommend a few must-try spots: Ichiran Ramen (main store), Yoshizuka Unagi (main store) – about a 20-minute walk along the river, and Shokudo Hikari (for set meals and sashimi). 3. **Hotel Room:** The room was a bit small, but it was clean and tidy. Towels were changed daily during our three-night stay. The window faced the outer wall of the adjacent building. There was no desk and no complimentary bottled water. The cabinet (as shown in picture 2) was useful for placing items like cameras, power banks, and charging cables. Check-in time at the hotel is after 3 PM, but you can drop off your luggage if you arrive early. The staff were patient and professional during check-in – thumbs up! If you're coming to Fukuoka for a city walk and to enjoy the local cuisine, I'd definitely recommend considering this hotel."

"The room is a upper bed. The lower bed can sleep two people. But have to spread the bed by yourself Entering the room to smell the permanently laid tatami. Sometimes I feel a bit smelly, the bathroom on the accommodation floor has only one room, 2 shower rooms, if there are many people staying. the bathroom may not be enough,the location is quite good,i have stayed for the second time,the door of the room is not bolted,when checking out,the sheets must be stored and returned to the counter below.overall,the price is cheap,live to sleep and travel"

"I recently stayed at Tokyu Stay Hakata during my trip to Fukuoka and had a really pleasant experience. The location is very convenient — it’s only about a 5–8 minute walk from Hakata Station, which made getting around extremely easy. From there, you can easily access the subway to Fukuoka Airport or take the Shinkansen to other cities in Japan. Another thing I liked was the surrounding area. There are several convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and being close to Hakata Station means you are also within walking distance to shopping malls and many local food spots. Overall, Tokyu Stay Hakata is a very practical and comfortable hotel choice in Fukuoka. With its convenient location and useful in-room amenities, it’s especially great for travelers staying a few days who want easy access to transportation and the city."

"Strange hotel / apartment, it’s very large and spacious but not much to fill the space and doesn’t have a very homely or comfy vibe. Rooms were clean though and there was everything you needed from an apartment. Staff at reception were very welcoming but didn’t seem to have the same urgency to help as other places I’ve visited in Japan. The location was fantastic for our sightseeing and sporting needs. We had a short walk to the Fukuoka Dome to watch baseball and short walks to other sightseeing spots, including the beach. Public transport was also very close by and convenient."

"The hotel is super nice. Very near at the hakata station . The room is clean and with a nice dining space to eat. The receptionist is very accomodating. They provide water heater, oven and refrigerator. Over all i love to stay again here when i go back to fukuoka"

The check-in process was very smooth, and our room featured a stunning Japanese design touch, making it truly exceptional. While the gym is a bit small, it has everything you need for a great workout. The location is prime, and we were pleased to find that a late check-out was available. Overall, our experience was fantastic!"
