"The hotel's location is fantastic – right next to the cable car entrance and with a Lawson convenience store just downstairs. Extremely convenient! I initially had some reservations due to negative reviews I'd seen. However, from the moment we checked in, every single staff member at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and patient, always greeting us with a smile. A special mention goes to Niko at the front desk!!! The hotel was fully booked during our stay. The two rooms we were initially allocated were a bit far apart, and our children kept getting lost running between them. Niko went above and beyond to patiently find us two connecting rooms. We are truly grateful for her help, especially considering the high occupancy rate at the time!"

"An incredibly satisfying stay that exceeded all expectations! This time, on a ski trip to Chongli, I booked a room at the Housnow Homestay based on a friend's recommendation. The actual experience, however, completely surpassed that of a typical hotel. 1️⃣ **Exceptional Service**: After booking, the owner immediately created a group chat, adding relevant staff for check-in arrangements, housekeeping, ski equipment rental, and more. The owner's service was personalized and customized throughout; they went above and beyond to fulfill our requests. I was particularly embarrassed when I accidentally left something on the table at the entrance, but the staff immediately sent it via SF Express – truly outstanding service. 2️⃣ **Excellent Facilities**: The room was incredibly spacious. We stayed in a two-bedroom, one-living-room unit, and each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom. There was also a Xiaomi humidifier (absolutely essential in Chongli). Since the homestay shares a lobby with Xuelu Residence, we were immediately impressed by the warm, solid-wood Christmas ambiance upon entering. The homestay's rooms also featured warm tones and solid-wood furnishings, which I absolutely loved. It's worth noting that the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and all the bathroom fixtures were ROCA, which was fantastic. 3️⃣ **Convenient Location**: The homestay's location is excellent. From the lobby, it's just about a hundred meters walk to the Thaiwoo Ski Resort lobby, where you can get your ski passes and start skiing. Within a hundred meters, you'll also find the Thaiwoo Lifestyle Zone with a Lawson convenience store and dining options. There's a parking lot right downstairs from the homestay, and the elevator goes directly there, so you don't have to go outside – super convenient! In summary, it truly exceeded all expectations. The owner is a person of great character with meticulous and thoughtful service. Many thanks! I'll definitely choose your place every time I come to Chongli, haha. "10 out of 10 for Shuanglong hotel! My partner and I wanted to try skiing in Chongli and we were shocked for what we experienced! There’s free shuttle bus from TaiZi station (depart 10-15mins after each train arrives). There are shops in the stations for ski rentals with reasonable price. Once we reached Shuanglong, we were surprised with the amount of foreigners we saw (Japanese, Korean, Russians etc). This hotel is surprisingly very foreigner friendly with lots of varieties for breakfast! Highly recommend everyone who stays here try their hot spring after your ski, super relaxing. Will definitely come back"

"I spent so long choosing a hotel at thaiwoo and I'm so glad that I decided on AB hotel! First, the service provided by Ms Wang was excellent, she was so patient and helpful, and communication by wechat was always prompt. Second, the hotel apartment looks modern and clean. I do not notice any smell even for a pet friendly hotel. Compared to nanshanli next door, I think that this offers a better value for money as you get a larger room (with kitchen and living room). However, the downside is that during winter we had to walk outdoors to get to the ski rental hall which is in the nanshanli building itself. Nonetheless my family looks forward to staying again in future!"

"The hotel is ideally situated in a prime location, making it easy to reach and navigate. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its stunning beauty and elegant decor. The check-in process was very smooth. They even offer self check-in. After we arrived to our room we received a welcome plate of fruit and yogurt. The room we stayed in was a masterpiece of design, meticulously decorated with a keen eye for detail, and the cleanliness maintained by the staff was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which offered an impressive variety of dishes, including both Western and Chinese cuisines. The area surrounding the hotel boasts breathtaking views of the river, adding to the overall charm of our stay. The only thing missing is a swimming pool. The other amenities are very nice."

"The attitude of the front desk staff has greatly improved compared to last year; every employee was very proactive. Ms. Xue even upgraded my room, and the cleaning lady on the 3rd floor was also very helpful and friendly, assisting me with an electric heater and humidifier. However, the noodle station in the breakfast restaurant was incredibly inefficient. They only had 4 noodle strainers for 6 cooking stations, leading to very long queues. The female manager at the breakfast restaurant, or whoever she was, was terrible at handling urgent complaints. She showed no respect for guests and was completely unwilling to listen, constantly interrupting me. I told her several times not to interrupt, but she kept cutting me off with circular excuses, saying the noodle strainers were borrowed and new ones would take three or four days to purchase. What kind of excuse is that? A noodle strainer costs a few dollars! Don't you have spares? I'm giving a 5-star rating because of the excellent front desk service, but if this happens again next time, you'll get 4 stars of 0.5."

"This was my first stay here. We had a 3-bedroom family suite, perfect for a family stay. It was spread over two floors, which was great, featuring 3 bathrooms and a walk-in closet on the second floor. The suite was spacious, with a living room and an open-plan kitchen, plus a fridge and a washing machine, which was very convenient. The facilities were a mix of new and old, but the overall environment was acceptable. However, there was a strong smell of dog urine in the hallway, and even running an air purifier didn't help. Upon check-in, the hotel offered complimentary hot spring tickets or movie passes. We chose the hot springs, which were quite good, featuring both indoor and outdoor pools. It was relatively peaceful and not crowded. Breakfast had limited options, but the noodles, rice vermicelli, and wontons were delicious. The only downside was that it didn't open until 7:30 AM. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to and from the station, which was quite convenient. However, it doesn't pick up/drop off right at the hotel entrance, but at the town entrance instead."

"Stepping out of the hotel, it's just a 10-meter walk to the ski slopes, and the gondola is very close, which is super convenient! The kids were so excited when they entered the room; the sofa bed and bathtub made them even more thrilled! Every staff member we encountered at the hotel had an excellent attitude. Eve, who delivered our room service at the restaurant, even saw we had children and thoughtfully went downstairs to bring up some yogurt for them – we're so grateful! Warmly recommended! And! The breakfast at Pasten must get five-star praise! I won't go into detail about the food; the quality is consistently excellent. I especially want to commend the efficiency at checkout! Mornings are precious, and the last thing you want is to wait in line to pay. But here, cashier Li Lishu was highly proficient and worked seamlessly. Scanning, verifying the room number, and processing payment were all done in one smooth motion, making the line move very quickly. She clearly stated the amount, which felt very professional and reassuring. Efficient checkout is an indispensable part of the breakfast experience, and they do it wonderfully here!"

"We could ski in and out, but unfortunately, we didn't go skiing this time; our main purpose was to watch the Snow League. To our surprise, the apartment was very close to the Snow League's U-pipe venue, within walking distance! What a pleasant surprise to see my idol, Eileen Gu! The place is pet-friendly, and our dogs had a great time too. Besides a microwave, the kitchen even has an oven, which is perfect for a medium to long-term stay."

"I never expected this stay at Wanlong Ski Resort to be the warmest surprise of winter. When I checked in, the front desk attendant glanced at my reservation and looked up with a smile: ”Sir, we happen to have a vacant scenic suite today, and we've upgraded your room type for free.” A simple sentence, yet it set a different tone for this trip. Opening the door, I froze. The standard room I had booked had become a spacious suite. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, the ski slopes cascaded down the mountain like white waterfalls, with cable cars strung like colorful pearls. The setting sun was just right, dusting the white slopes with gold – this was clearly a VIP view from the ski resort's observation deck. The room showed thoughtfulness everywhere: the open-plan kitchenette gave off a faint scent of raw wood, the living room sofa was so soft you wanted to sink right into it, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom warmed you from your feet to your heart. The biggest surprise was the balcony; you felt as if you could reach out and touch the figures gracefully skiing down the advanced slopes, their ski suits carving flowing rainbows between the blue sky and white snow. In the evening, I brewed a cup of hot tea and sat by the window. The ski resort lit up for night skiing, like scattered stars on the hillside. Laughter from a family next door drifted in, with a child asking if they could be the first to ride the cable car tomorrow – this room upgrade was more than just a room; it turned the entire snow mountain into our backyard. The next morning, I woke up with the morning light. Opening the window, the crisp, snowy air rushed in. Watching the first skiers carve elegant arcs on the fresh snow, I suddenly understood: these unexpected acts of kindness during a trip, like discovering untouched powder snow, turn an ordinary journey into a cherished memory. When checking out, I thanked the front desk attendant. She still had that warm smile: ”We hope you'll come again next time, Wanlong always welcomes you.” Of course, I'll be back. For this snow mountain, for these ski slopes, and even more so for this warmth that made the trip shine. Some surprises make you fall in love with a city and remember a name."
