It is located in the core area of the ancient city of Dukezong, near the prayer tube of the Great Buddha Temple, and is only a 5-minute walk away. Built on the mountain, it has a great view and overlooks the panoramic view of the ancient city and the Tibetan architectural complex. The homestay is equipped with whole-house floor heating, all-day oxygen concentrator, nut 4K giant screen projection and intelligent guest control system, and Dream Lily zero-pressure mattress and Jiumu bathroom ensure comfort. Provide Mercedes-Benz airport pick-up, free afternoon tea, minibar and secret passage for travel photography in the back mountain. Let travelers have both natural wild fun and home warmth in the pure land of the plateau.

"We had a fantastic 3-night holiday stay here! The location in the central ancient village is perfect, with plenty of nearby attractions. The service was exceptional—the host was incredibly supportive, providing train station transfers and luggage assistance for both check-in and check-out. Definitely a 5-star experience! The only minor issue is the main entrance pathway, which goes behind a neighboring homestay's bathroom and has an unpleasant smell. Hopefully, the host can ask the neighbor to address this"

"Indigo Hotel in Diqing Moonlight City: Li Xian's Choice Is Always Right I've found my hotel of the year, the Indigo Hotel in Diqing Moonlight City, also favored by Li Xian. Location: It's located both within the ancient city and on a mountain. When I arrived in Shangri-La at night, riding the shuttle bus and overlooking the entire ancient city from a 3300-meter-high hillside, I felt pure bliss. In one day, you can witness the ancient city's 'three-piece suite' – from morning mist to clear blue skies to sunset – truly a 10/10 experience. Hotel Common Areas & Rooms: White, yellow, ******* style. The rooms are situated in villas scattered across the hillside. There's an observation tower you can access via an elevator. I stayed in Building No. 7, which had a beautiful tree by the entrance – another 10/10. Breakfast: High quality and featuring ******* elements. A wide variety of butter teas, freshly baked flower cakes, and delicious Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger). I'd rate it 9/10. Service: The front desk staff are all genuinely kind young women who are always willing to help. I even bought a small horse figurine made by a local ******* for only 50 yuan! The restaurant manager, upon hearing I was going to Yubeng, personally came to advise me on what food to pack for breakfast – a solid 9/10. Travel Photography: The travel photographer has a strong artistic vision. Even for just a few photos, he takes the time for post-production to create various styles of work, and he's very meticulous about finding the right light during the shoot – 9/10. I am incredibly satisfied with this hotel. Compared to my other option at the time, Songtsam Linka Shangri-La (I saw a post on Xiaohongshu recommending Indigo over it), although Songtsam also has its own unique style, I definitely made the right choice."

"A nice stay here for 3D2N in ShangriLa. The owner provides paid free transportation from rail station and airport if you stay 2 nights. Simple breakfast provided. Room with heater , warm toilet seat and bath. Do book a ride with a very nice local driver recommended by the Inn to major locations at a very good price. The contact of the driver can be at the chalk board facing the reception. This is helpful as many of the tourist sites are very far. For solo traveller, you will have the 2 cats keeping you company. As it is within the Ancient Town, restaurants and famous temple wheel are within walking distance."

Hotel near Dukezong Old Town,Shangri-La
At an altitude of 3,300 meters above sea level, Shangri-La hides a thousand-year-old moonlight city - the ancient city of Dukezong. This is the imprint of the Ancient Tea Horse Road, the Sanskrit sound of the first return, and the holy place in the hearts of countless travelers, "the closest place to heaven". And**Xingzhiyue Yixing B&B**, it is hidden in a quiet corner of the ancient city, becoming a window for you to touch heaven. Living in the poetry of **, the location is excellent: 5 minutes walk to the square street in the center of the ancient city, Moonlight Square and Guishan Park are close at hand, but avoid the noise and enjoy the tranquility alone. Sip butter tea by the fire pond and listen to the stories of collectors, wait for a sunshine gold mountain on the terrace, or visit the nearby Songzanlin Temple and Napa Sea with the host. Warmth like home: floor heating, humidifier, 24-hour hot water, intimate service against high reaction, let you feel like home. Walking to Shangri-La, this is not only a place to rest, but also the beginning of a story. **The joy of doing is also good**, I am willing to protect the sun and moon in your heart with a bowl of hot yak hot pot and a dim butter lamp.

"First off, the hosts were really great – very warm, enthusiastic, and helpful. Communication before our arrival was smooth. We drove there ourselves, and the guesthouse's location is excellent; you can drive right up to it, and parking is convenient. It's close to both the ancient town center and the East Gate. The room was equipped with disposable bath towels, regular towels, and toilet seat covers, which was a thoughtful touch. I actually forgot to bring mine on this spontaneous trip, so it was a lifesaver that the room had them. Whether you're heading to Meili Snow Mountain or other attractions, the guesthouse offers recommendations for legitimate car charter and carpooling services, which is very convenient. However, despite being a 'view guesthouse,' there isn't much of a view from the surroundings, so don't have high expectations there. Also, the room has a lot of wooden decor, so there's a slight 'new renovation' smell. Opening the windows helps a lot, but it's not severe and is within an acceptable range. Breakfast was quite standard. But the service was excellent, and overall, it offers great value for money."

"This is the coziest guesthouse in Shangri-La! I cycled there, and they took good care of my luggage which I sent ahead. When I arrived, it felt so warm and welcoming. They offered complimentary tea and fruit upon check-in, and even called ahead to ask if I needed airport pick-up service – seriously, for this price, it’s such a thoughtful touch! The room was very clean, and I especially liked that the towels were disposable. Breakfast is from 8 to 10 AM, and I absolutely loved the yellow steamed bun (窝窝头). When I asked the 'niangniang' (a friendly term for an older lady) for more, she kindly refilled it for me. I'll definitely choose this place again when I come back; it's just so heartwarming! 🥰"
