"I really enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Nanjing. The room was comfortable, the hotel was well maintained, and the location was very convenient. What made the experience extra special was the warm hospitality from the front desk, especially Una. She was extremely kind and welcoming, and I truly appreciated the complimentary breakfast provided each day. The service felt sincere and thoughtful, and I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"My stay at Conrad Shanghai was absolutely fantastic! Ella at the front desk was super efficient and attentive; check-in was smooth with no waiting time. Laughing, the duty manager, was gentle and courteous, and Cici from the switchboard was polite, thoughtful, and very quick to respond to requests. The room was spacious and spotless, with exquisite and stylish soft furnishings. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were comprehensive with plenty of hot water. The views were expansive, and the natural light was excellent. The hotel's amenities are top-notch, and the public areas are refined and grand. It's conveniently located, with easy access to transport and shopping malls. My entire stay was comfortable and pleasant; quality truly shines through in every detail. Both the value for money and the overall experience are outstanding. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai!"

"This hotel is just beautiful and welcoming. People standing at the front will rush to help opening the door and unload your luggage from the car. The receptionist was really lovely and helpful and provide all the details in English. Then you will be brought to your room. The room was really lovely. The beds were a bit small for an adult and kids but this is based on foreigners size. The bathroom was not clean properly with stains on the wall, doors and bathtub ( picture attached) but this may be due of the fact that the room was old. There was a mini bar in the room but no price available. The hotel have a heated pool and multiple restaurant on site. The kids love the pool. The hotel is in the middle of all the places that need to be visited. If you go out from the hotel and turn right. You are 10 min walk from Nanjing Road. If you turn left, you are 10 min walk from YuYan Garden. And if you walk in direction of the back of the hotel, you are at the Bund. If you go straight you ll be most likely at people’s square. We had an amazing stay there and we were joined by our daughter’s friend who booked there aswell to make it convenient for the kids to see each other. I highly recommend this hotel for families and friends catch up. Really convenient location, really lovely and helpful staff."

"My recent stay at the Hilton Hongqiao Airport significantly exceeded my initial expectations, and the pleasant surprises unfolded gradually throughout the check-in process, rather than all at once. Upon arrival, my room was still being prepared. Daniel at the front desk handled my check-in. His communication was clear and measured; he first explained the situation thoroughly, then helped me arrange my subsequent plans in sync with my itinerary, instead of simply telling me to 'wait.' Thanks to Daniel's coordination, I was directed to the Executive Lounge to relax, and the entire transition was seamless, with no awkward waiting or uncertainty. Once settled in the Executive Lounge, the environment remained consistently quiet, perfect for slowing down mid-journey. There, I met Nina, the Executive Lounge Manager. She proactively checked on my check-in status and anticipated my upcoming schedule. Her communication style was very natural, eliminating the need to repeatedly explain my needs – a detail frequently traveling guests can easily appreciate. I had mentally prepared for a longer wait, but soon after, I received a call from the front desk. It was Daniel, informing me that my room was ready for occupancy. The efficiency was much higher than expected, and it kept the entire check-in process comfortably paced. The real sense of delight emerged once I entered the room. I was assigned a Deluxe Aviation View Suite, nearly 100 square meters in size. The space and layout significantly surpassed typical airport hotel expectations. The room had a clear flow, making it very intuitive to use. Outside, there was an unobstructed aviation view, yet the soundproofing with the windows closed was excellent, maintaining a quiet interior – a difficult feat for an airport hotel. Inside the room, there was a welcome fruit platter and a small cake. These details, while not extravagant on their own, appeared at just the right time, clearly conveying that this was a stay that had been thoughtfully prepared. The overall finish and condition of the room made me want to linger a bit longer. Throughout my stay, Nina continuously monitored the overall pace, including coordinating subsequent time arrangements, all handled impeccably. This made the entire trip feel relaxed and organized, without me needing to constantly reconfirm details. Her service style wasn't overtly demonstrative, but she was always present at key moments, greatly contributing to the completeness of the overall experience. Looking at the overall experience, what impressed me most about this stay wasn't just the room type itself, but the seamless flow of information between the front desk and the lounge. From Daniel's judgment and handling in the lobby to Nina's meticulous follow-up and coordination in the lounge, the entire process was interconnected, with no service gaps or need to repeatedly explain my background. For guests who frequently transfer, depart, or arrive at Hongqiao, this hotel's mature service level, beyond its hardware facilities, is a significant bonus. After this stay, it will become one of my top choices in this area."

"I really enjoyed my stay at CitiGO Jing’an Shanghai. It’s a great spot for solo travelers, with a super convenient location close to Nanjing West Road and the Jing’an area, so getting around the city was easy. Breakfast was simple but nice, with a coffee machine, pastries, and fresh fruits—just right for a quick and relaxed start to the day. The room was comfortable and practical for a city trip. A nice little bonus was receiving a cool coffee cup after check-out, which was a fun and thoughtful touch. Overall, a comfortable stay in a strategic location, and I’d definitely consider staying here again when I’m back in Shanghai."

"Let's start with the positives. For an older hotel, Citadines is remarkably well-maintained. The breakfast is also incredibly varied and feels truly high-quality. However, compared to the HUAZHU-owned Ji Hotel next door, the facilities are a bit lacking. There's no motion-sensor night light, and the curtains let in too much light. My biggest complaint this trip was the service. The hotel didn't ask about our preferences and assigned us a room right by the elevator. We didn't notice it during the day, but at night when it was quiet, the elevator noise was very prominent. Plus, next to us was the linen room and a fire exit. I'm not sure if it was a night patrol staff member, but in the middle of the night, the door would slam shut with a loud 'bang' (definitely not a guest, as guest room doors close slowly). Already a light sleeper, I was startled awake twice."

"Convenient location to business buildings and tourist attractions. Just 2km or so to Nanjing Pedestrian Road. But, nothing much is opened before 10am near hotel. So, if you're looking for breakfast before 10am, you might need to travel a little further. There's a convenience store just underneath the hotel. However, for my room on 9th floor, every now and then, there's sewage stench coming from the vent, possibly from the toilet of the unit above? It lasted several minutes. That's the main issue with the unit. Otherwise, I had comfortable sleep and I appreciate the kitchen and washing machine in the room."

"The room was clean and tidy. There's a coffee machine in the lobby that we could use anytime. When we encountered an issue and contacted the front desk, they resolved it very quickly for us. The hotel is super close to the Bund, Yu Garden, City God Temple, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, all within walking distance. In the evening, if you turn left after leaving the hotel, you can see the 'Bund International Architecture Exhibition.' If you book a room with a view, you can see the lights of the Bund right from your room, which was a fantastic experience. Next time I visit, I'll definitely book a room with a view."
