"An unparalleled experience! The hotel was grand in every aspect, making us feel right at home. We booked a Royal Club King Room, and it came with a complimentary afternoon tea upgrade. Since we missed the evening 'Sweet Hour', the butler, a lovely and kind young lady, graciously offered us afternoon tea for the following day instead. She was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous, providing us with all the necessary timings and important tips. **Facilities:** The TV felt a bit small for a Royal Club room. **Cleanliness:** Exceptionally clean. The bathtub didn't even need a liner, and the bath towels and hand towels were all very soft. The hotel provided two large and one small blue pool slippers, plus two large and one small white disposable slippers. **Service:** After our first swim, the bathrobes got completely soaked. The hotel promptly provided two extra sets, which was very efficient. **Location:** It's in a prime spot in Haitang Bay, about 1.8 kilometers from the CDF Duty-Free City."

"The hotel is brand new, with very spacious rooms and excellent facilities. Most of the public areas are shared with the neighboring Belmond property, including the pool, restaurants, and kids' club. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options and is available until 12 PM, so you don't have to worry about missing it if you wake up late. The service was truly commendable. Upon check-in, the front desk kindly upgraded our room free of charge, and they were very prompt in addressing all our questions and needs throughout our stay. While there was some objective noise from nearby municipal construction, it stopped during lunch and in the evenings. Since we were out of the hotel for most of the day during our stay, it didn't really bother us much."

"This hotel is absolutely amazing! The lobby smelled lovely as soon as I walked in, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting me with smiles and even helping with my luggage 🧳. The room was spacious and spotless, and the bed was as soft as a cloud – I fell asleep instantly 😴. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the toiletries smelled great. The breakfast spread was so diverse I didn't know what to choose, and everything tasted delicious. The location is also fantastic, with lots of great restaurants nearby and easy access to transportation. Definitely a five-star experience, I'll be back for sure! 🥰"

The surrounding greenery is exceptional, with coconut groves, swimming pools, and gardens seamlessly integrated – no filters needed for photos! 2️⃣ **Room Experience** 🛏️ We stayed in a sea-view balcony room, and opening the window revealed an unbeatable ocean vista. We woke up gently to the sound of the waves each morning. The room was spacious and clean, with a fresh, resort-style decor. The bedding was comfortable, and the mini-bar was well-stocked. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were from a renowned brand – great attention to detail. 3️⃣ **Dining & Service** 🍽️ The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, from Chinese dim sum to Western pastries, as well as local specialties like Hou'an noodles and Qingbuliang (a refreshing dessert soup). For dinner, we enjoyed a fresh and reasonably priced seafood set meal at the hotel's seafood restaurant! The staff were all very friendly, from the front desk to housekeeping, always smiling and greeting us, and quick to respond to any requests. 4️⃣ **Facilities & Activities** 🏊 The hotel has three swimming pools of different depths, including a children's pool with a slide that kept the kids entertained for hours! There are also daily complimentary yoga classes, parent-child craft activities, and more. The gym faces the ocean, making even a run a delightful experience. The SPA center offered professional techniques, perfect for relaxation. 5️⃣ **Nearby Convenience** 🛍️ It's a 10-minute taxi ride to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, and the hotel also provides a free shuttle bus to the duty-free shop. There are food streets and supermarkets nearby, making it convenient to buy fruits and local specialties. 💡 **Tips:** * Consider a higher-floor sea-view room for a more expansive view. * Go to the beach after 4 PM for less sun exposure and soft lighting for photos. * Hotel packages often include airport transfers or dining vouchers; compare options before booking. **Summary:** Whether for a couples' getaway, a family trip with kids, or a multi-generational vacation, this place has it all! Beautiful scenery, attentive service, and integrated dining, accommodation, and entertainment – truly a 'lazy vacation' mode. We're already planning our next visit!"

"Joyful Camp Kids' Play Area and Water Park: The staff at the indoor kids' play area were incredibly friendly and approachable, much more so than at many professional children's playgrounds. Although the outdoor kids' play area was a bit chilly (despite being advertised as constant temperature, it wasn't too bad), my child had a great time. Heated Pool: The temperature was perfect. At other hotels, I've often felt the pools weren't even 28 degrees, and my child would get cold. Here, it was just right. The Lakeside Western Restaurant is right next to it, and it offers good value for money. We ordered lunch by the pool, and for 400 yuan, there was so much food my child couldn't even finish it. The breakfast was also plentiful, and the room was spacious enough, though the bed was a bit too soft. The service was the biggest highlight! It made up for any shortcomings. Although check-in took quite a while, their attitude was so good and sincere that I really had nothing to complain about. Overall, the value for money is still quite good. Those who love the sight of a large lawn and the sea from the lobby might find the public area design a bit unconventional. All in all, I'd give it five stars!"

"This is my third stay at Ascott Sanya, and this time I'm in building 1. It feels like I was tricked the first time, as I was given the same room type for the same price in building 2... I've now stayed in three different buildings across my three visits. Overall, I feel building 1 has the best sea view, followed by building 3, and building 2 is the worst. Ascott's qualities are well-known. A one-bedroom suite offers high comfort for a short vacation, with full amenities. There's a fridge for storing food and an induction cooker and microwave for simple cooking. The washing machine with a drying function is very convenient. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the beach, which is quite convenient. Let's talk about the changes this third time around. On the positive side: 1) Kabi Town has more offerings than before, and the complimentary shopping vouchers are useful for buying a few things; 2) The breakfast restaurant has improved and is better than before; 3) The butler service this time was better than any previous visit. On the negative side: 1) The room and facilities are poorly maintained. My first stay was not long after opening, and now the decor feels very aged, and the cleanliness isn't great. The TV background wall in the living room has started to mold, the sofa bed curtains feel unclean, the bathroom drain is slow and smells, and the bottom of the bathtub is blackened; 2) The kitchenware and tableware have been significantly reduced, at least by half compared to before. Items like the frying pan and glass cups are missing, and the knives aren't as good as they used to be. P.S.: I don't know why Dadonghai is full of Russians, and so is the hotel."

To top it off, the amenities are fantastic—free WiFi, a well-equipped kitchen (great for cooking fresh seafood from the market!), clean facilities, and even pools and a gym if you want to unwind. The staff is also super friendly and helpful, making check-in/out a breeze. I can’t say enough good things—this is my new go-to in Sanya. If you want space, convenience, and a fantastic stay, book Oakwood without hesitation! Already planning my next visit."

She proactively reached out before check-in to understand our needs, and during our stay, she responded to our inquiries instantly and made thoughtful arrangements, showing great attention to detail. The hotel offers comprehensive facilities for families, including a full range of kids' amenities and a children's play area. Plus, it's just a short walk to the beach, making it super convenient for families with kids.
