"First off, I have to praise the hotel's location. It's right in the heart of the old town, just 50 meters from the subway entrance – super convenient! There's a Chinese New Year street fair happening nearby, so it's really lively. Plus, there's a food street right outside with all sorts of local specialty snacks, which my kid absolutely loved! I initially thought the room would be noisy given how crowded it was outside, but surprisingly, the soundproofing in this old building is excellent. After 10 PM, it was completely quiet. We booked a standard room, which was very spacious. Both beds were 1.35 meters wide, bigger than average, so there was plenty of room for our family of three to rest comfortably – highly recommend! We stayed on the second floor, and the room was tidy, clean, and the service was attentive and prompt. Five stars, definitely worth recommending!"

For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"There were 6 of us, and it's quite hard to find a guesthouse with three bathrooms, so this was perfect. I highly recommend it for groups. We stayed for 4 nights, and the cleaning lady came daily to provide disposable towels, water, toothbrushes, and toilet paper. She even helped us take out the trash. The room designs are all exquisite and minimalist, and you can see the sea from some angles – check out my photos! The location is excellent, close to the subway station with plenty of restaurants nearby. The only minor thing was that I'm not used to disposable towels, but everything else was absolutely perfect!"

"Location: The hotel is conveniently located near Yan'an Third Road subway station. If you take Exit D, there's a commercial area right outside with plenty of dining and shopping options, and the hotel is directly across the street. If you take Exit A, it's a few minutes' walk east, and you'll pass a 7-Eleven on the way. The subway provides easy access to all the major attractions, and Vientiane City is only about a fifteen-minute walk away. It's also a pleasant stroll to May Fourth Square after dinner. Service: The staff are warm, attentive, and greet children kindly, making them very approachable. The front desk efficiently handled check-in, was very helpful in answering questions, and housekeeping responded quickly to our requests. It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing hotel; the service is excellent. Environment: Upon entering, you'll find the front desk. While checking in, family members can wait in the adjacent lounge area. The overall style is spacious and tidy. We booked a family suite, which had two single beds in the living room and a king-size bed in the bedroom, plus a bathroom with a double vanity. The space was quite suitable for a family of four. The room offered a great view of the sea and distant office buildings, and at night, we could enjoy the spectacular changing lights. The family suite also came with a children's building block table, sand play tools, and a small tent. Restaurant: The variety of food is rich. For those dining before 10 AM, the staff will give a friendly reminder before service ends and even pack small tomatoes in a box for the children, which was a thoughtful touch. Facilities: The hotel is quite old, and the facilities are indeed a bit dated, showing their age. Hygiene: The cleanliness of the children's building block table definitely needs improvement. Considering it's promoted as a family suite, we found cigarette ash and thick dust in the toys, and a red, blood-like stain on the small tent. Housekeeping promptly cleaned it. After my child played with the toys and tent in the afternoon, their eyes became uncomfortable that evening, with a noticeable increase in green discharge, clearly a bacterial infection. The next day, their eyes were swollen and matted shut when they woke up. Luckily, I had eye ointment which I applied, and my child's condition improved by the third day. However, then my own eyes started to become red and infected... Five days later, my eyes are still bloodshot. I followed up with the hotel about the situation, and Ms. Meng Qing, who handled my case, was sincere, didn't evade the issue, actively sought a solution, and promised that the hotel would rectify and improve its hygiene standards. A hotel that can face problems directly gives me confidence that they will genuinely follow through on their promises. I hope to experience the improved conditions on a future visit."

"Lv Feng Hotel is strategically located in the heart of Shinan District. It’s just a 5-minute walk to The Mixc Shopping Mall, where you can find almost everything. Luckin Coffee is right next door, which is a big plus for coffee lovers. The MRT station is also only about a 5-minute walk away. The room is spacious and well-equipped. The room I stayed in offers a view of Qingdao TV Tower, and I could also enjoy the sunset. 赵姐 from the housekeeping team is very attentive and does a great job—kudos to her! One of my favourite things about the room is this multifunctional machine (as shown in the picture). It works as an air conditioner, heater, and dehumidifier, which made the stay very comfortable."

"Pros: The location is excellent—Tsingtao Beer Museum and Taidong Snack Street are within walking distance. A 7-Eleven and other convenience stores are also right nearby, which made everything very convenient. The area is quiet and peaceful, making it a great choice for families. The room itself had a nice design and was well-decorated, creating a comfortable atmosphere for our stay. ⸻ Cons: Cleanliness needs serious improvement. The shelves and floors were quite dusty, and there were even leftover nail clippings from a previous guest, which was very disappointing. The glass and mirrors were not properly cleaned, and the kitchen area was also noticeably dusty. The bathroom was also poorly cleaned, and there was an unpleasant sewage smell coming from the pipes. I chose not to upload any unpleasant photos, hoping that more attention will be given to cleanliness in the future."

"The hotel's overall service was indeed good, and the location is excellent, right across from Wanda Plaza, making it very convenient to get to scenic spots. However, everyone, please remember not to book the Laoshan Qingdao day trip advertised with cards placed in the hotel rooms. They are truly scams. The guides don't explain anything, and they just take you shopping at attractions. The same goes for meals. I really think that by allowing these cards to be placed in rooms, the hotel is lowering its standards. We trusted the small card placed in the hotel precisely because of the hotel's brand, and this directly warrants a bad review. For such a large hotel, it really shouldn't be making money this way."

"I absolutely loved it! The views were incredible, and the service was top-notch. The front desk lady was very thorough and attentive when checking us in, and then she even helped us with our luggage all the way to our room, taking the time to explain all the hotel and room facilities in detail. Honestly, I've stayed at many international brand hotels before, and none of them offered this level of thoughtful service. I couldn't be more satisfied; my only regret is not staying longer 🥲. I'll definitely be back next time!"

"My stay at the Meilun Meihuan Hotel during my trip to Qingdao exceeded all expectations! The hotel is located in the heart of May Fourth Square, within walking distance to attractions and shopping districts, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was spacious and bright, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the sea and the city's night lights; I could even enjoy the light show from my bed. The German-inspired design was simple yet sophisticated, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The bathroom featured a wet and dry separation, and all facilities were new and complete. Jennifer provided warm and efficient service, and the cleaning staff were meticulous and thoughtful. The public areas and breakfast quality were also top-notch. The 24-hour gym and laundry room were well-equipped, catering to both business and leisure needs. Overall, it was clean, tidy, warm, and comfortable. The location, views, and service were all impeccable.
