"I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The room was spacious and bright, the overall decor felt high-quality, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I particularly loved the hotel's toiletries. The scent was sophisticated and not overpowering, leaving a subtle fragrance on my skin after showering, which really added to the experience. The late-night supper provided by the hotel also exceeded my expectations. Not only was there a wide variety, but the food tasted excellent. It was incredibly satisfying to come back to some hot food after a busy day. The staff were enthusiastic and professional, and the overall environment was quiet and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for both business trips and leisure vacations. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Nanjing."

"This hostel has a great vibe, honestly the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The room facilities are incredibly complete. There's a dedicated dining hall for meals, and the main lobby itself is really upscale, you can even get coffee there. The front desk lady was super friendly and always solved any issues perfectly. The room was clean and tidy, just fantastic. I'll definitely be back!"

"I originally booked two different room types for three nights and needed to switch rooms in the middle. Duncan was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded my room, allowing me to enjoy the city view from the Asia Pacific Building for three days, which was a fantastic experience. The room layout was exactly to my liking, and it was spotlessly clean with excellent air conditioning. The breakfast on the first floor offered a wide variety of local specialties; the large meat buns and beef potstickers were delicious. From the 56th floor, you could see Xuanwu Lake and Jiming Temple, and I really enjoyed the wontons. The hotel is right next to the subway station, making it super convenient to get to scenic spots and the train station. This trip, except for one night when I was too tired and took a taxi back from Confucius Temple, I used the subway for all my travel. Next time I visit, I will definitely choose Jinling Hotel again and try out Meiyuan."

"The hotel facilities and room were much better than I expected. The airport shuttle service was also very convenient. I originally booked this hotel just for a layover, thinking any place to rest would do, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. The only thing that could probably be improved is the hairdryer; the air was hot but weak, making it a bit difficult to dry my hair."

"Our stay at Modena by Fraser Nanjing Financial City (Exhibition Center) was delightful from start to finish. A special shout-out to William Chen at the front desk for his exceptional service. He was genuinely warm and helpful, not only making our check-in process smooth and efficient but also thoughtfully upgrading us to a better room. It's the little details that count! The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, and the location was excellent, making it easy to get around. Overall, our experience far exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"My stay at the InterContinental Nanjing Greenland Financial Center was absolutely incredible, truly living up to its reputation as Nanjing's landmark 'cloud hotel.' The hotel is centrally located, with direct subway access, making getting around super convenient. The high-floor rooms offer breathtaking views, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Xuanwu Lake, Purple Mountain, and the cityscape of Jinling. Both the sunset and the nighttime city lights create a truly atmospheric experience. The room was spacious and spotless, with soft, comfortable bedding and well-equipped bathroom facilities; the attention to detail was impressive. The staff were warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and they proactively offered helpful guidance. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring authentic Nanjing flavors, and the high-altitude pool and gym facilities were excellent. The overall environment is upscale and elegant, and the service is meticulous. I highly recommend it for both leisure and business travel – I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Nanjing! Special mention to Bailyn and Steven, whose service was particularly excellent, warm, and gentle."

"This past Chinese New Year, I had a fantastic stay in their Spring Festival themed room! So, for the May Day holiday, I decided to return to Shangri-La and try their Cherry Blossom themed room. This trip was primarily to celebrate my elderly relative's 70th birthday. We specifically chose a private dining room at the hotel's Jiangnan灶 (Jiangnan Cauldron) restaurant on the first floor. It was a wonderful family gathering for lunch; the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The birthday celebration was a great success! After lunch, it was already past 2 PM, but unfortunately, the Cherry Blossom themed room wasn't ready yet. The front desk suggested an upgrade to the Super Suzhou themed room, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The decor perfectly captivated the kids. Besides playing with the soccer ball in the room, we also spent some free time at the outdoor basketball court and slide on the 5th floor, which is also a great spot for family activities. The Horizon Club is still an excellent choice, offering many amenities. Although we didn't get the Cherry Blossom themed room, they still provided a complimentary cherry blossom-themed afternoon tea. Furthermore, the afternoon tea time and evening light meals on the 40th floor were both excellent! For breakfast, I recommend the buffet on the 2nd floor; there are more options, and the duck blood vermicelli soup is absolutely delicious – a must-have every time! Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay and will definitely choose to stay at the Nanjing Shangri-La Hotel again if I have the opportunity."

"Lets face it, if it is the 'old' Nanjing you wish to visit this is not the right location. This hotel is near, ie walking distance from the main Nanjing train station, Nanjingnan, a behemoth of a station. I loved the view from my 15th floor window. The room was spotless But that's where it stops. There is no lobby reception and unless the local vigil taks you to the second floor to register you are lost. Staff was kind and welcoming. Breakfast, well, not what a westerner would expect, in the same room that is used as a store room, reservation center and reception. Access to and from the ground floor was only via the service lift ... Surrounding area is very modéré, with many great eating places. Overall good for my needs."

"I brought my parents to Nanjing, and after comparing several options, I wisely chose the Hyatt Regency. Not staying in the crowded city center turned out to be a great decision! The rooms are spacious, and the environment is lovely (the grounds have excellent greenery and beautiful cherry blossom trees). It's super convenient as the Tianlongsi subway station is right outside the door, and there are two small shopping malls nearby. The breakfast was thoughtful (the duck blood vermicelli soup was delicious!), and service responses were quick. The gym is huge, with a full range of Technogym equipment. The only minor drawback is that with the seasonal change in early April, the air conditioning in the rooms might not yet be on cooling mode. We could only use natural ventilation or open the windows. Our south-facing room was a bit warm at 28 degrees Celsius, while the north-facing room was fine. If you're sensitive to heat, I recommend checking with the hotel in advance about the AC status and room temperature. Finally, a special shout-out to Shanshan for her considerate service. Overall, it was very good, and I'd definitely come back again."

"We booked this hotel last minute because our previous hotel had no AC. It’s in that in between time before it gets too hot but it’s not cold enough. Luckily after calling around Westin was the only hotel that had individually controlled AC. None of that central AC stupidity. Every other five star hotel had the central AC set to 25-26 degrees Celsius which is insane. We got two beds with a view of both the lake and the city. The lake was a walking distance with a mall downstairs with tonnes of good food. The service was good as always and amenities were excellent. You did have to call and ask for bath salts and disposable bath bag. Beds are a little on the soft side but didn’t bother me. The rooms were also super spacious. One negative thing would be the fact the doors of other guests rooms slam and you can hear if even if they’re down the hall. We found this to be a constant problem in every hotel we stayed at. No matter the price."
