"As a transit passenger, I chose this hotel based on its high ratings. After landing, the pick-up driver was very attentive and friendly, explaining where to board the shuttle, opening doors, and handling luggage. The hotel facilities are complete; although the room was small, it was exceptionally clean. The room also featured voice control. After checking in, the owner thoughtfully asked if I needed a wake-up call and advised a reasonable departure time based on my flight details. I noticed many guests were repeat customers. Due to time constraints, I only managed to take a few photos inside the room."

"Both of us are extremely satisfied staying Im this hotel. The resapan for giving the hotel 10/10 are: - Efficient customer service, the senior lady as well as the younger staff at the counter are very alert and responsive. I would say the young senior staff with short hair is a gem to the hotel management team. She's kind, caring and hospitable. - The Hotel is strategically located near to the Kunming Railway Station as well as to FuDe Subway station. Moving around in Kunming city is so convenient. - Just next to the hotel is the Shuangqiao Night Market. It's the largest night market in Kunming. We enjoyed the variety of food served in the market. - Although the night market operates till 3am, the rooms remain quiet and peaceful to sleep in because the Hotel has double layered glass windows to block out the noise from outside . - The breakfast I served is also delicious : local noodles and wantons served in three types of soup - plain chicken broth, sour and spicy or Mala taste. "I chose to stay in this hotel again as it is ten minutes' walk from Kunming airport. My room was spacious and well equipped , and unlike in many other hotels in China the television was simple and easy to control. I especially liked there being a public piano in the lobby. These days, thanks to the new metro system, Kunming is easy and quick to get around. You can get right across the city from the airport to the mountain overlooking the lake in under an hour - well worth the trip for the great views."

"The hotel's location is excellent, offering a tranquil escape amidst a bustling area. Its antique and elegant design, along with the decor, exudes a rich cultural heritage. The service team is even better, providing one-on-one butler service. They are polite, sincere, and friendly, and were especially attentive to the elderly in our group. Plus, the complimentary breakfast offered several choices, and the rice noodle set was superb in terms of color, aroma, and taste. It was truly a wonderful stay!"

"The hotel is situated at Kunming Old street, it’s very convenient and accessible to food, shopping and various attractions in Kunming City. Book the superior double room, the room is clean and spacious equipped with water purifier. The courtyard provides a very comfortable vibes. The front desk staffs are also very friendly and helpful. Response very fast when I texted inquiries in booking apps and help to receive parcels from my online purchase."

"Traveling to Kunming, this hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! It's a 2-minute walk to Daguan Park where you can see Dian Lake and feed the seagulls – they even provide free seagull food. Nearby malls are also very close, just a 6-minute Didi ride away, which is super convenient. The room was spotlessly clean, no dusty corners, no strange smells. The bedding was skin-friendly and breathable, and the mattress was just the right firmness, making for a super comfortable sleep. The air conditioning heated well, and the Wi-Fi was stable and didn't drop. The front desk service was efficient and thoughtful, and they even offer free luggage storage. The value for money is outstanding! I've already recommended it to my friends!"

"Facilities: The room facilities are relatively new. Hygiene: The room was very clean and fresh. Environment: It's located above a shopping mall, but with the windows closed, you can't hear any noise from downstairs, so it's relatively quiet. Service: Thoughtful and attentive. I had a small extra request on the day of check-in, and they accommodated it. It's also very convenient for getting around."

"A great stay right by Cuihu Lake. I spent two days in Kunming, and the hotel's proximity to Cuihu Lake was a major plus. Its location is excellent; you're at Cuihu Lake just a short walk downstairs and across the street. It's also very close to Qianju Street, the Military Academy (Jiangwutang), and other attractions, making the area perfect for a city walk. This location is particularly unbeatable when traveling with kids, as other hotels I considered (like Nanjang, All Seasons, or Orange) couldn't compare. Being able to step right out to Cuihu Lake is perfect for parents with little ones. There are also shared e-bikes downstairs, making cycling around incredibly convenient. Right next to the hotel is Banpo Xiaoguo Mixian, which is definitely worth trying. Overall, the hotel service was excellent. The complimentary snowflake crisp at check-in was delicious. The breakfast buffet was also good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bread and desserts – they clearly put effort into it, with generous fruit toppings on the pastries. All the staff, including the front desk, were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's biggest drawback, as many other reviews have pointed out, is its age. I asked the front desk, and they mentioned it opened in 1998, though it has been renovated since then. By the standards of its original opening, the facilities must have been quite impressive. However, the decor feels a bit dated, the rooms are not spacious, and smart amenities are lacking. The shower is also located inside the bathtub. Despite these points, the redeeming feature is the lovely view from the window – endless blue skies, white clouds, and the beautiful scenery of Cuihu Lake."

"The location was near to a few shopping malls and shopping streets (came alive on a Friday), room was nice and comfortable though they have the same problem as other accommodations as they don't have hooks in their toilets. The service was excellent, they were always able to resolve our requests. Do note that this is not Novotel hotel, it is Novotel Living which is a cheaper option, though their lobbies are just side by side and we can use the Novotel hotel facilities."

"My stay at Junze Hotel was absolutely fantastic! As soon as I entered the room, I was captivated by its cozy decor. The layout was well-designed, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The biggest surprise was how clean the bathroom was, and the hot water came on really quickly. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the bed was huge—plenty of space for two. It was super comfortable to lie in bed and watch the projector; I even asked the owner what brand it was because the quality was so impressive (it's XGIMI). The staff were warm and professional, providing thoughtful service from check-in to check-out. I felt safe and comfortable staying here. Plus, the metro station is just a minute or two's walk away, making transportation incredibly convenient. The value for money is super, super, super high!
