The Sofitel Kunming provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Sofitel Kunming is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Kunming. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 5km from Kunming Railway Station and 28km from Kunming Changshui International Airport. The closest major public transportation, YANJIADI Metro Station, is only 800m away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the YunFang ShangYeQu (HuanCheng NanLu), Nanping Pedestrian Street and Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archway all nearby. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests of this Kunming hotel can make use of the parking facilities. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"First and foremost, I have to praise Suri. She's beautiful, kind-hearted, and highly skilled in her profession – truly thoughtful. Girls like her are a rare find these days. Honestly, I can't find a single reason not to choose this hotel when visiting Kunming. Many people suggest staying in the old town, but frankly, it's completely uninteresting; it's all just commercialism. Others opt for hotels near Cuihu Lake, but to be honest, Cuihu Lake is quite ordinary and overly commercialized. Unless you're traveling with children, definitely don't book a hotel there. Some recommend staying by Dianchi Lake, but I can only tell you it gets pitch black at night, so what's the point? However, choosing this hotel is absolutely the right decision. Firstly, you get a panoramic view of Dianchi Lake from a high vantage point – the scenery is breathtaking. Secondly, the room design is very stylish and impressive, quite high-end. The rooms are also incredibly spacious and bright, exactly what you'd expect from a high-quality hotel. For these reasons, I will recommend this place to all my friends and business partners visiting Kunming. Finally, I have some feedback for certain staff members in the breakfast restaurant: during work hours, please don't joke around and be noisy. You are at work, not performing for an audience (the Northeastern lady in the breakfast restaurant, for example, was very proper, professional, and polite). Also, the role at the desk next to the front desk, I assume, is concierge? I observed that this position is mostly staffed by male employees, and every single one of them was unwelcoming, with stiff facial expressions and no smiles whatsoever. Either you dislike your job (if so, you're young enough to quit and find something you enjoy), or because the hotel is high-class and has hosted many important figures, you can't even bother to greet regular guests. If it's the latter, I want to tell you that it's precisely because of this high-caliber platform that you get to interact with important people. Without this platform, you are nothing. Therefore, you should strive to maintain this platform, not just sit there with grim faces watching guests come and go. I truly don't understand it. Your job is to treat all guests with enthusiasm, just as I, living in Tianjin (my home is in a tourist area of Tianjin), help every visitor to Tianjin that I can, free of charge. I do this because I welcome everyone to my hometown and want them to love it. If you lack even this sense of honor and are just working to earn a living, then what is the value of your life?"

Gong Xili first saw the hotel in historical and cultural street in Kunming. If there is a Kuan Alley and Zhai Alley in Shanghai and a new world in Shanghai, then there will be Kunming old street in Kunming. The last historical block left in Kunming. The hotel is located at No. 32, wenmiaozhi street, close to Nanping business district, surrounded by zhengyifang shopping center, Wangfujing Department store, Baisheng shopping center and Kunming Department store. It is close to jinmafang, Nanping pedestrian street, Yunnan Traditional Chinese medicine hospital and Kunhua hospital. The hotel is within walking distance of Cuihu scenic spot, Jingxing flower and bird market, Qianwang mansion, victory Hall of the Anti Japanese War, etc. The hotel's "industrial retro style" guest rooms have independent air conditioning, star hotel bedding and bathroom, high-speed wireless internet access, high-definition live TV and other supporting facilities. Let the guests in the downtown area experience the leisure and elegance of the ancient town in the city and find a quiet place in the prosperous city. The hotel combines two seemingly completely different style traits of literary elegance and rough madness, showing a unique and charming charm; In addition to the basic accommodation functions of comfort and hygiene, the whole hotel is carefully decorated, so that you can get unprecedented enjoyment from the five senses of vision, smell, taste, hearing and touch.

"I chose this simple hotel for my short trip to Yunnan, and it delivered a surprisingly comfortable experience! While it lacks complex smart devices, the back-to-basics quality of the accommodation perfectly matched the relaxed vibe I was looking for on my trip. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warmth made me feel incredibly welcome. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and they proactively informed me about nearby breakfast spots and bus stops, even kindly reminding me about Yunnan's weather changes. These thoughtful details instantly made me feel at ease. The guest room, though simple, was fully equipped and spotlessly clean, with absolutely no strange odors. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day of travel – even the pillow height was perfect. All the basic amenities in the room were comprehensive: the air conditioning worked wonderfully for both cooling and heating, hot water was consistently available at a comfortable temperature, and the vanity counter was spacious with a bright, clear mirror, making daily washing up completely uncrowded. The walls were unadorned, yet a small succulent added a touch of life, and the windows sealed well, blocking out outside noise and making the entire room exceptionally quiet. Hygiene was absolutely impeccable! The floors were spotless, there wasn't a speck of dust on the table, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was thorough, with the toilet and shower cubicle immaculately clean in every corner. Even the towels and bath towels had a faint, pleasant scent, making for a truly reassuring stay. While it doesn't boast the luxurious amenities of high-end hotels, every detail shows care – the charging outlets by the bed were conveniently located, the lighting was soft and not harsh, and the mini-table even had complimentary bottled water and tea bags, simple yet practical. The hotel's location is also excellent; it's just a few minutes' walk to a lively commercial street, making dining, living, and transportation incredibly convenient. I only stayed for one day, but I was truly impressed by this simple yet sophisticated accommodation experience. There were no flashy gimmicks, just solid basic services and a clean, comfortable living environment. For travelers seeking value for money and practicality, this hotel is definitely an excellent choice for a trip to Yunnan, and I would prioritize staying here again next time!"

Hotel near Tongde Kunming Shopping Center,Kunming
"This stay truly lives up to their slogan: 'as comfortable as home.' They really do have almost every amenity you'd find at home – an iron, washing machine, microwave, and so on. The service was excellent! They managed to get all four rooms for our large family on the same floor. However, it seems like every room might be a smoking room (even though we requested non-smoking and they sprayed a lot of air freshener, the smoke smell just wouldn't dissipate quickly 🥲). If you can't stand it, you can ask the front desk to change rooms, but there's no guarantee the next one will be smoke-free… we ended up with two smoky ones, haha! You can also often smell strong cigarette smoke in the hallway 🚬, because people in other rooms are heavy smokers 🤯. For a short trip, it's still okay, because it's a brief stay and we spend most of our time out of the room… maybe we were just really unlucky… No issues with noise, though. I saw some comments before about poor soundproofing, but honestly, it's quite good… and I'm a light sleeper."

"I highly recommend this hotel near the airport! The pre-booked airport transfer service was incredibly thoughtful; the driver was punctual and got me to the airport in just a few minutes, making my early morning flight completely stress-free. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. Toiletries were well-stocked, and there was plenty of hot water. The staff were warm and attentive, and the value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next business trip!"

"The lady at the night reception was super nice. She had a great service attitude and was very friendly. I stayed here for two nights last time, and after traveling around, I came back to the same hotel. It was the same person who helped me with my luggage. The environment is clean and quiet. Definitely a five-star review!"

"After looking at many hotels, I finally chose this one, and I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfied I was. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming, offering warm ginger tea during check-in and proactively helping with my luggage. There's a one-on-one butler service, and they even come to my room to do laundry if I need it done. The hotel's location is also excellent, about an 8-minute walk from Kunming Railway Station and a 10-minute walk from Kunming Old Street. There are also subway and bus stops nearby, making transportation super convenient. The room was luxuriously decorated, clean, and hygienic. The comforter was down, and my favorite design was the separate bathroom and shower area 👍🏻. They even provided two pairs of slippers (for wet and dry separation), and my child's first thing upon arriving in the room was to take a bath in the large bathtub 😊. The hotel's mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary water and drinks, and the shower gel and shampoo were from the high-end brand Jo Malone. The prawns at breakfast were very fresh, the rice noodle soup was freshly made bone broth, and the other dishes were also quite good. Overall, a very satisfying stay, my child loved it and said they want to stay at Anman Flower Hotel again next time. Highly recommended! 👍"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! You can catch both the sunrise and sunset from two different sides of the room, and the room itself is incredibly spacious! I also loved the decor. There's a large shopping mall nearby, just a ten-minute walk away, and there are breakfast spots right downstairs, which is super convenient. The service was also incredibly thoughtful; the front desk lady was very kind and didn't seem bothered at all when she showed us the room – thumbs up! This trip to Yunnan has shown me how wonderful and genuine the people here are! A truly excellent experience!"
