"Facilities: While it's a guesthouse converted from a residential building, having an elevator was a definite plus. However, the frosted glass in the bathroom didn't offer much privacy. While it's fine for daytime use, at night, with the interior brightly lit and the exterior dark, it posed a privacy concern. Hygiene: The cleaning staff kept the room and elevator quite clean. However, the duvet insert was so discolored and clearly hadn't been replaced – it must have been breeding dust mites. Around 10 PM, right after showering and getting ready for bed, I started feeling itchy all over. I called the front desk three times with no answer, which was incredibly frustrating. On my fourth attempt, someone finally picked up. After explaining the situation, I simply requested a new duvet cover. The front desk then informed me that the cleaning staff had already left for the day and had the key to the linen room, making it impossible to provide one, and merely offered an apology. I was utterly speechless and just hung up. About 10 minutes later, I received a call informing me that the cleaning staff had arrived. Shortly after, there was a knock at my door. When I opened it, the staff member was standing there with a new duvet cover. I was still quite annoyed. I truly didn't want to bother the staff so late at night, but a problem with the room needed to be addressed. Honestly, in the hospitality industry, certain items genuinely need to be replaced after extended use. Skimping on such essentials makes absolutely no sense. Overall, the stay wasn't particularly good, but it wasn't terrible either."

"It was a pleasant stay at the hotel. A plus for free boat shuttle service to the hotel. The breakfast is simple but tasty. It also located at the spot with the best night view. The hotel staff especially, 李小姐 is very patient and helpful when attending to our queries. She has helped us to arrange for private transport from Nan Xun to Hangzhou at a reasonable price. Thanks Ting Jian for everything provided to us during our stay. Will recommend to friends"

"Amazing accommodation where the staff could not be more helpful. We also went for their dinner which was very atmospheric and delicious. I couldn't praise this place enough as it was so welcoming and comfortable. We stayed here for our last night in China rather than Shanghai - it is a pedestrian zone easy to get taxi to HSR 6km away then about 45 mins to Shanghai Hongqiao railway station and the cost is about £10 in first class. The accommodation has managed to blend modern with the old perfectly. It's a lovely town to saunter around - china's version of Venice."

"First off, the hotel's location at the north gate of the ancient town is great because if you're driving, you can pull right up to the hotel and parking is convenient. Second, this part of the north gate is very quiet with few people around, so sleeping at night was peaceful. The hotel has a creative car theme and even a pool table, which was nice for a couple of games after exploring the ancient town. The breakfast was the Five Happiness Restaurant's 'baoyu' noodles, which were delicious. The hotel also offered a complimentary 'three-course tea' service, and sitting by the river outside the hotel was very pleasant. The owner was also very welcoming and attentive. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Nanxun."

"Three teas, snacks: very intimate, feel very special. Nanxun Ancient Town attraction tickets: The boss presented tickets for five attractions for two people, which is very good value. Hanfu experience: I recommended a store with more clothes, no makeup, a penny confiscated, really useless, great. As for the hotel, let alone the location is great, there is its own parking space, free parking. Includes breakfast for two people, very good, the aunt is also enthusiastic, always said that there is not enough to eat casually, this is a good experience. I hope I have a chance to come again in the future. Thanks to the owner and service staff!"

"The room was quite clean. We were very lucky to have booked a family room. It was located by the lake and had two floors. The first floor had a bathroom and the second floor had two beds and a small desk. The window was right next to the lake and the lake view along the street was unobstructed. It was very beautiful. We checked in at night and the night view was amazing! The breakfast was prepared and tasted good. We also had lunch at the store the next day. It was classic Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine and was very suitable for our taste. The store owner was also very considerate. We forgot our clothes in the store and SF Express helped me to deliver them home. The service was first-rate! Good reviews!"

"I have stayed in many hotels, but this art hotel is the most memorable! The garden landscape design layout is amazing. There are many retro paintings hanging in the corridor. The sculptural table lamps and artistic carpets in the room are unique, as if you are living in a palace of art. The hotel has a good location, a rich breakfast, and the front desk also recommended surrounding scenic spots. I will come again next time!"
