"What a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families. For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though. I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective. Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building. I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle. But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat. The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient. It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C. There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort. Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol. Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding. We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day. The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around. Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back. We had an amazing time and would consider coming back."

"The hotel room exceeded expectations. I didn't expect it to be of such high quality and low price. It was very quiet when I slept at night. When I opened my eyes, I could see the silent world covered with ice and snow outside the window. Our flight arrived very late, but the boss still helped arrange the pick-up service. He said that those with children will be taken care of more thoughtfully. Both my baby and I felt it. We were so happy. We set out early in the day to see the Tianchi Lake on the west slope. We felt safe leaving our luggage at the counter. After we came back from the tour, we had a simple meal here, which showed the sincerity of the Northeastern people. We also felt the enthusiasm of the landlady. The warmth in the cold winter, the ingredients and portions are real It’s one of the most delicious. I asked me to give this hotel 🏨200 points☺️After dinner, I went to experience ice fishing and set off fireworks. I was extremely satisfied~"

"As an old five-star hotel, apart from the manager at the lobby entrance who had a good attitude, the rest of the staff were really disappointing. The person who checked us in immediately changed their expression when they saw we were only staying one night. They didn't bother to tell us anything about breakfast or how to arrange skiing. The person handling the ski passes seemed to be in a bad mood, perhaps on their period, and was very unfriendly. In comparison, the breakfast service was the best. We understand that your hotel has been open for a long time and some facilities are a bit old, so we won't quibble about that. However, the balcony door and window don't close properly, and with temperatures at -30 degrees Celsius, the wind seeped through the cracks all night, making it chilly. The room temperature barely reached 18 degrees Celsius, which, thankfully, was still somewhat manageable for us southerners who are used to damp and cold weather 🤭. For an international five-star hotel costing almost 3000 a night, this is quite embarrassing."

"A perfect stay experience beyond expectations! Must give all five points! The location of the hotel is easy to find with the navigation. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I entered the door. It was exactly the same as the picture, and it was even brighter, warmer, clean and comfortable. We arrived at night and were going to the west slope the next morning. The boss lady is super good, patiently answering questions from the beginning of the stay, providing travel guides. The location is very close to the Xipo Visitor Center, about five minutes, the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off is very intimate. Thank you for your intentions and adding too many good memories to our trip. I have already recommended it to my friends, see you next time!"

"The overall room size is quite suitable, at least for families with children, allowing ample space for luggage. I'd suggest placing a freestanding coat rack in the living room of the suites, especially during winter. Many guests are returning from skiing or playing in the snow, often wearing thick, long down jackets. If these jackets, which might have a bit of snow on them, are hung inside the bedroom closet, they won't air out properly and will stay damp. The living room offers plenty of space for a coat rack, which would be much more convenient. **Cleanliness:** To be honest, the cleanliness was just average. Upon entering, I noticed hair on the light-colored sofa in the living room, which was quite visible. Since we were traveling as a family, the small bathroom to the left of the entrance was barely used. It wasn't until the second evening that I discovered a used, half-worn false eyelash from the previous guest still stuck to the sink. As this bathroom was rarely used, I didn't bother calling housekeeping; I simply disposed of it myself. **Service:** When we needed anything replenished in the room, housekeeping was quite prompt, and their service attitude was excellent. On the day we checked out, it had snowed the night before, making the roads slippery. For safety reasons, the hotel shuttle couldn't pull up directly to the lobby entrance. A staff member from the lobby, dressed in rather thin clothing, still led everyone out towards the shuttle bus. I was moving slowly with my child and luggage, and this male staff member noticed, quickly came over to help us with our suitcases, and told me to take my child onto the bus first while he loaded the luggage. I'm very grateful for his help. There's a shuttle bus service between all the hotels in the resort and the ski slopes, running every ten minutes or so. A staff member comes into the lobby to announce each shuttle, which is very convenient. We stayed in Block B, and while it wasn't a long walk, given the low temperatures, taking the shuttle was definitely more comfortable."

"This hotel is in an excellent location, just a few hundred meters from the Wanda Resort, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, and beautiful scenery. The owner is incredibly welcoming, always smiling with a warm, honest expression. Their travel itinerary suggestions are exceptionally professional; they planned our three-day trip perfectly, ensuring we saw everything without feeling rushed or tired. It truly felt like coming home, and it significantly improved my impression of Northeast China. Definitely a full-mark recommendation!"

"There were seven of us in total – six adults and one child – and we had a great stay. The place was clean, the furnishings were new, and it was super convenient for getting around. It was also very close to the transfer center, just across the street. Unfortunately, we couldn't go up the mountain as it was closed for several days. We thought we were lucky to grab tickets, but then the official account announced the day before that the mountain would remain closed until August 2nd. What a shame! However, the guesthouse itself was excellent. Even though we missed out on the mountain this time, we'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to make up for it."

"It's conveniently located very close to the main tourist hub. However, I wouldn't recommend the food options in the immediate vicinity; they were both overpriced and tasteless. Moreover, I found that booking this exact room on Ctrip was 60 RMB more expensive compared to another booking platform. While the Ctrip booking offered free cancellation, the cheaper option on the other platform was non-refundable. Despite the difference in cancellation policies, the other platform was still significantly cheaper, saving me dozens of yuan."

"The room is very good, clean and hygienic. It is not easy to have such a good homestay in the mountain village. You can use the kitchen here to cook by yourself. It is very convenient to go to the opposite side to climb the mountain to see the train."

"In the county town, the hotel is relatively large and looks good, but the sheets and pillows were obviously not changed and the pillows were still dirty and had hair on them. I can only sleep wrapped in my own clothes. The most important thing about the hotel is hygiene. I hope it can be improved."
