The biggest feature is that it is right next to the station. It has a strategic location. When you exit the station, turn right and get off the overpass and turn right. You will be there in two minutes. It is very convenient. There is Matsumoto Kiyoshi Pharmacy and McDonald's right next to it. There are a lot of restaurants within two minutes' walk. It's cheap, good quality, and quite cost-effective.

The 1st room allocated to us had a bad stench which smelled like sewage, so we immediately went back down to the reception desk and inform about the stench and requested for a room change which the staff quickly obliged. The 2nd room was okay without any noticeable stench. The manager also promptly went to the 1st room to check on the stench we reported. Compared to the other hotels we stayed in, this particular hotel had an odd smell, somewhat like stale air mixed in with old carpet smell and old heating system smell which was noticeable along the hallway leading to the rooms. The not so fresh air could be due to poor ventilation system or age of the building. The hotel is very huge with lots of rooms so requires one to walk quite a fair bit especially if your rooms are not located near the lift lobby. Coin laundromat was not easy to locate for the 1st time as it was located very far down the corridor from the lift lobby and had only a tiny black signage which was hard to see in the dimly lit corridor. Hotel location was superb as it was within the JR station compound with plenty of shops around.

Convenient hotel in front of JR Ogura station north exit. It is one of the oldest hotels in JR Kyushu Hotel, and there is a part that the room facilities are obsolete, but the room is cleaned and the renovation seems to have been done, and there is a feeling of cleanliness. The accommodation fee is also cheap in front of the station. There was no noise in the next room which tended to be in a cheap hotel, and it was possible to spend comfortably. From the room, the Shinkansen platform was able to be seen, and if the ear was clear, the bell of the departure was heard, so it was good as a railway lover. I think it is cheaper to stay here even if you pay transportation costs because the hotel fee in Hakata is high. (If you make a net reservation, you can use the Hakata-Ogura limited Express seat (the same amount of free seats) １４７０ yen) And the happy thing is that breakfast is free. There are some parts that are difficult to say that the menu is substantial, but I think it is enough because it is a free breakfast. Chocolate croissant and coffee were delicious. The staff is also good and I want to use it after the next time.

I was able to stay comfortably. The entrance and front desk of the hotel were new and clean. When I went to the front desk to leave my luggage before check-in, I was told that there would be a lot of people who would like to leave their luggage, so if it's okay with you, you can go to a vacant room first and stay there. I was able to check in 2 hours before arrival, which was very helpful. The main building has a conspicuous oldness of the room, but there is a feeling of cleanliness. There was mold that could not be completely removed due to the oldness of the bath, but it did not bother me so much. There was no temperature setting for the air conditioning, and it was a type that you could choose with a dial for strength, but I was able to control the coolness properly and it was comfortable. Personally, I was happy that the provided body soap and shampoo were quite good and my hair didn't get frizzy. I was exhausted from the event and had to extend my checkout time by 2 hours, but the cleaning staff were very pleasant and the front desk staff was very polite and I was able to stay comfortably.

２ The floor is at the front desk and you can issue two room keys with the check-in machine. When I checked in, I found out that it was a low floor on the 3rd floor, so I thought it was a game, but probably because it was New Year's Eve, the outside was relatively quiet and I could hardly hear any noise, and there is a hotel. Because I was planning a family trip to Kitakyushu, I went on a trip with my friends and searched 'Hotel Crown Pales Kokura' on Trip.com and booked a river view room without any conditions and paid. Why did you pay unconditionally? The total amount of breakfast for two people for two nights is about 210,000 won, so I thought it was a good amount. And in the hotel, about 8,000 won in our country's money for two nights? And there's a story that says you have to pay for the same thing. You know. 3. Hotel check-in is 2 o'clock, tax mentioned in front of the hotel site? That is, because it is 2 nights per person per night with Korean money, 2 people per night, so I paid about 8,000 won for Korean money. 4. The size of the room was good enough for two people to stay and the condition of the room was very clean and good. But the bathroom seemed a bit narrow. But it wasn't uncomfortable. There is also a big park in front of the hotel, so it was very good for a morning walk. 6. Walk 2 to 3 minutes from the hotel and you will see 'Kokura Castle'. There is a very large shopping center right next to Kokura Castle, so it was nice to be able to do both sightseeing and shopping. And there were many restaurants, so I was very satisfied. Hotel breakfast was also a variety of types (Japanese, Western, dessert, etc.), but it was a little bit sloppy as I said in front of you. 8. If you walk about 1 minute from the hotel, you will see the 'danga market' and take the train called 'Galaxy Railway 999' in front of this market and go out about 2 stops, you will see 'Kokura Station'. About 2,800 won for Korean money from this Kokura Station I went to Mojiko Port and it was so fun. 9. If you travel to this area again, I would definitely stay at Hotel Crown Pales Kokura! I went to Kitakyushu for a meeting and chose this four-star hotel. Although the hotel rooms are relatively small and the facilities are old, the environment inside and outside the hotel is great and the rooms are clean and tidy. My room is on the seventh floor. When I open the window, I can see the Japanese garden downstairs. It's a great experience. The breakfast at the hotel was also great. The hotel is very close to the subway station, vegetable market and commercial street. It only takes five or six minutes to walk, which is very convenient. The price is also relatively moderate. When I left a little from the south exit of Ogura Station, I could see a building with a hotel sign, so I could go without hesitation. There was a convenience store next to the hotel and it was convenient, but there were few restaurants nearby, so I walked to downtown for about 7 minutes. The room was a problem because it was a regular Toyoko inn. There were two elevators, so I didn't feel stress because I had less waiting time.

I loved everything about the guest house. Our own lockers and storage were perfect, the living room was so homey it felt like a living room. People were nice and spoke Japanese as well as English. I came to japan looking for a full, immersive experience and this was the perfect place. Fun location next to markets, bars, food, close to Kokura castle and the river walk. To me, it’s a better way to experience japan instead of a hostel where everyone only speaks English, and you might forget you’re traveling in another country. I loved it, for me it was home.
