Jr Kyushu Station Hotel Kokura

Wonderful location - directly at Kokura Station, no need to step out of the station at all. Super convenient. Service is excellent. We were able to store our luggage after we checked out so it was super convenient to explore the areas in kokura.

Very good location at the JR upstair and so many shopping area and restaurants near the hotel A underground car park is good and convenient

You had everything you need whenever it come to JR hotel, the train station are always packed with foodies and whatever necessities you need like matsumoto kiyoshi. Fell ill this time when i arrived and the helpful staff though can't speak english well, try to help me identify the shop to get med and i greatly appreciate their customer service. Foodies street right below of the hotel, with Shin shin ramen, skewer and kinda a party foodies street. Very convenient but i dont think i will visit kokura so often but i will be back to this hotel if required. Great work!

The location and view are good. I think the facilities are well maintained. They have introduced a self check-in system, but the staff seems to be very helpful.

Very convenient location. A short walk from the major train station. Shops, restaurants and big shopping malls nearby. Good breakfast.

The 1st room allocated to us had a bad stench which smelled like sewage, so we immediately went back down to the reception desk and inform about the stench and requested for a room change which the staff quickly obliged. The 2nd room was okay without any noticeable stench. The manager also promptly went to the 1st room to check on the stench we reported. Compared to the other hotels we stayed in, this particular hotel had an odd smell, somewhat like stale air mixed in with old carpet smell and old heating system smell which was noticeable along the hallway leading to the rooms. The not so fresh air could be due to poor ventilation system or age of the building. The hotel is very huge with lots of rooms so requires one to walk quite a fair bit especially if your rooms are not located near the lift lobby. Coin laundromat was not easy to locate for the 1st time as it was located very far down the corridor from the lift lobby and had only a tiny black signage which was hard to see in the dimly lit corridor. Hotel location was superb as it was within the JR station compound with plenty of shops around.

Been checking in this hotel a few times. Convenient location, nice room and lots of amenities. Lots of restaurants and convenient store nearby.
