Days Inn by Wyndham Kill Devil Hills Oceanfront - Wilbur

The stay was great. The location is terrific if you like the beach. The staff were all friendly and professional, nothing like an experience I had in Denver at a Best Western Premier, there the manager Ashley is the worst. So unprofessional avoid that hotel if you are going to Denver. Here at the comfort inn the room was large and clean, the. Ed was comfortable and linens were all fine. I’d stay here again and recommend this to family and friends.
The Sea Ranch Resort

Most Awesome Experience for my 60th Birthday From Check in to Check out. Ed EJ and Mary Ann make an Exceptional Team. They were very knowledgeable about the area and were willing to offer suggestions for dining and shopping. My husband and I were treated Fantastic. We were able to get clean towels and toiletries from the front desk everyday. Room was clean and fresh. The BeachSide Bistro inside the property's food was delicious and everyone was friendly. Definitely our escape! Most relaxing vacation ever. Loved watching the dolphins play every morning!
Wingate by Wyndham Kill Devil Hills NC

This location was perfect for our large group of friends and family! If you stay here, you'll be directly on the beach with a short walk through the dunes, there's a lifeguard station house DIRECTLY next door, an incredible gas station/ souvenir shop/ sandwich shop/ fishing gear/ EVERYTHING shop! This spot is centrally located, a short drive from EVERYTHING Wright brothers related, and there's a pool with a decked stage area for small events and gatherings. The location was previously renovated, and the rooms are VERY spacious, with a huge living room apart from the bedroom. The hotel was clean, inside and out, and the staff were tremendously accommodating and friendly. I WILL be back to visit this incredible coast again, and I will absolutely be staying at the KDH Wingate!
Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Nags Head Oceanfront

This Ramada was just great! Centrally located, and Everything was there. Convenient parking right in front. 24 Hour front desk, and very helpful staff. Restaurant and bar on the property. Breakfast dining on 2nd floor. Indoor Pool and hot tub. Deck overlooking the beach with outdoor bar, and a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. I thought the pictures of the rooms on TripAdvisor were pretty accurate. Granted this is an older property and some parts showing age. Balcony door was very hard to open, and chairs were tacky. However, in October it was windy and chilly so we didn't really want to go out there. Breakfast was not included with room, but it was very reasonably priced and included EVERYTHING on both the hot and cold buffets. The restaurant and bar were on the back of the building. Live entertainment every night, and two lovely young ladies tending bar and serving tables. Modest menu selection, but good and fairly priced. It was delightful, and fun. I would definitely recommend this property.
Mariner Inn and Suites

Right on the beach. Nice pool area with a child's pool connected to the main. We had some rain and wind for 2 days so the pool temp dropped and was quite cold so we went and wade in the ocean instead of swimming. There is an open grassy area with picnic tables but no bbq but you can bring a small hibachi to use. Our room was small but we didn't use but just to sleep at night. The breakfast was good but they never change up the selection. When it is busy, they run out of the omelets and sausage. They don't do much to keep the area clean and stocked during the breakfast. The person working it also cleans rooms so they do not have a dedicated employee that just does breakfast and the one there seems annoyed that they are there. I was impressed overall by this hotel. The rooms were newly remodeled and very clean. We had new linens on the bed and new towels in the bath. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are on a budget. Great location. The concerns I previously spoke of are minor and should not stop you from staying here. There is no elevator. I have included some outside shots and a beautiful sunrise I took our last morning on the beach right at the hotel.
John Yancey Oceanfront Inn

It's not a brand-spanking new motel, but I'd pick it again in a heartbeat. I was able to get a ground floor room facing the Ocean, and it was beautiful. Not many people, quiet, except for the constant rumble of the ocean waves. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and it was a perfect spot from which to explore the Outer Banks. Booking a room for mid-week in October helped. Plenty of parking, and numerous restaurants nearby, as is Roanoke Island, Manteo, Jockey's Ridge, and many other historical spots.
