Hotels with bar in Khanom

Our family were there in October’21 for 2 nights in 2BR & 1BR Beachfront pool villa. The property really nice and the beach really quite, only hotel guests there. Amenities and home appliances are high end with superb quality better than 5 stars property. Services from our villa butler was great even the hotel run by the local owner. Only negative comment was the beachfront villa not privacy, you have to exchanges it with the view which just only few steps to the beach. Our group also had dinner on the beach but taste just only so so.

The hotel has rooms at various levels and for the restaurant and pool you need to step down and up a 40-stage staircase. The swimming pool looks over the sea, and there are beds with beds, they have no wheels and are heavy to move, and the first day there were not many guests, and that made an unpleasant impression on the large terrace and the dining room. You can choose from Thai food and a European breakfast, fruit, tea or coffee. On the 2nd day there was a running buffet as breakfast, even with fries. It was much more pressing in the hotel and it was visible at breakfast. The room was spacious and especially in the bathroom you need to work. A lot of calc and a form of concrete rough. The vitrage also missed a few wheels and was not clean. The hotel is remote so you can't walk even comfortable to a village.

Kanon itself has no tourists, let alone Chinese tourists, so it is very quiet. There are very few people on the beach, almost a private beach. Highly recommended for those who want peace and quiet. The disadvantage is that it is inconvenient, there are almost no restaurants around, and the convenience store also needs a five-kilometer road. You can ask the hotel to call a car or rent a motorcycle to go there. The hotel itself has a private beach and restaurants, which are all good. The only thing is that the room is a bit poor, dirty and full of insects. You have to keep the curtains closed all day during the day, otherwise you can see the inside from the outside, and the privacy is poor. Only four bottles of water are provided every day, and there is a charge for more. The spa is also average and the price/performance ratio is not high. Generally speaking, the price is acceptable, but I hope it can be cleaner.

quiet hotel very nice staff Especially the staff in the dining room. The young man at the water bar is very good when coming to have breakfast. The chef at the egg zone asked the chef if there was egg Benedict because there was none on the menu. The chef disappeared from the counter for a while. Went to the kitchen to make it, very cute. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There was a bathtub. At night, I asked for candles and a hot foil to come and light the aroma oil in the bathroom, but I couldn't, I should have forgotten, everything was very good. Suitable for relaxation, going during the monsoon, strong sea waves, so beach front activities are omitted, very disappointing.

Saw a lot of not-so-good reviews in 2018, yet we still decided to give it a try. On arrival, check in process was smooth and easy, the lady was very helpful. The beach and pool view from our room was breathtaking. Love the idea of being able to lie on the soft comfy bed to enjoy the scenic view and the sunrise. The room was big, the bed and pillows were soft, clean and comfortable. The air-con was cold and the water heater was warm. There was a one-door fridge to store the drinks we bought. The bathroom was big, with a shower, a bathtub that was facing the beach. We stayed for 2 nights. 1st breakfast was ala carte and we both ordered American Breakfast, we enjoyed it and especially love the pineapple jam. 2nd day breakfast was buffet style, other than the American breakfast, they also serve salad, chicken porridge, soup and fried rice. Nothing special but all taste good and you would want to take again and again. Having said so, there are things to improve. There were two flies and some black ants in our room that welcome us. Those flies were quite disturbing. The beach was not clean with trash and the sand was mixed with lots of broken shells making the the stroll on the beach a little unpleasant. The swimming pool was cleaned in the morning but towards afternoon it became dirty again even though there was a filter to clean from time to time. In conclusion, this was a very pleasant stay for us and I am looking forward to visit again. Staying here was a real and great experience to relax and rejuvenate.

When you are cruising around Khanom, there are plenty of places to stop for a rest and a drink, but few really stand out. After two hours of sitting on a motorbike in the afternoon heat, wandering into this chic, modern, air-conditioned coffee-lover’s paradise was sheer heaven. This is possibly the only cafe in the area where the owners actually know about coffee (and care about what you think of theirs). The staff are friendly and the WiFi is good. This is a really good spot if you feel like lingering over a coffee (or two). They are open daily from 8am until 11pm.

This review is not about the Hotel, but for the Gym inside which is independently run. Great Gym At Golden Beach Hotel in Khanom This excellent gym is hidden away in the Golden Beach Hotel in Khanom. It is perfect if you are on holiday or just travelling through and stop for a few days in Khanom. They have a very reasonable rate of 100 Baht for a casual visit, so there is no excuse to skip your workouts away from home. For a relatively small gym it is exceptionally well equipped with high quality machines and a good selection of free weights, weightlifting racks, barbells of various sizes and a ton of dumbbells. A large mirror and benches makes the gym complete that will allow the amateur just as the pro- weightlifter or bodybuilder to do a full workout. A selection of cardio machines allow you to do a full body workout both suited for the serious endurance athlete and muscle-builder alike. Two air cons and a number of fans ensure you don't get too hot. All in all a real hidden gem. So if you are looking for a hard core gym without the fluff and glitz this is your place. Check it out. Rock up to reception, hand over your 100 baht and lift some weights!

Belongs to famous hotels, suitable for backpackers to live. The room has air conditioning and refrigerator. There are no slippers and toiletries, so you need to bring your own. Many hotels here in Thailand do not have flushing supplies. It is recommended that tourists bring their own small bottles, which are convenient to use and easy to carry. The Stella hotel is very close to the beach, and it takes 10 minutes to walk to Cannon Beach. Because the location is a bit remote, it is safer to travel with boys. The boss of the famous hotel can rent a motorcycle, and can also help contact the person who chartered the car.

We spent two wonderful weeks at this peaceful and luxurious resort. The whole resort appears new, including the bungalows, and everything is clean and nice. There is a nice pool area directly overlooking the beach. Wonderful staff that were very attentive to all our needs. Excellent breakfast made to order. The hotel restaurant must be one of the better restaurants in Khanom and deserves more guests. Normally we would have taken both lunch and dinner at one of the cheaper options along the beach, but we actually ended up having lunch in the hotel restaurant for the duration of our stay due to the tasty and high quality Thai dishes (we did not try any of the “Western” food on the menu) served here. We would love to come back to Wis Beach!

Hospitality at Kahnom is top notch!! We came to Kahnom specifically for the pink dolphin tour but our initial reserved tour was cancelled two days in a row due to weather. We had a casual conversation with the owner Daniel, and the next thing we knew, he had reached out to a friend who could run the tour for us! It was such a surprise 🥹 the hotel itself is directly accessible to the beach with benches and seats available to sit and relax at night. Music playlist was also great and chill. Staff were sweethearts. The entire experience was great! 11/10 would visit again!
