I went here with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time. We went for a romantic getaway for valentine’s weekend. We had an oceanview room and ate at the hotel restaurant. Wonderful and very romantic! We loved exploring Kennebunkport! Such a cute town!

Although we were unable to visit the Inn at our intended dates due to family medical emergencies, our experience with staff and management at Cape Arundel Inn was absolutely wonderful. We unfortunately had to cancel our plans a few times due to unforeseen circumstances and not only was the Inn's management team understanding, they allowed for extreme flexibility. This kind of customer service has made us excited to visit the Inn when we are able to and we would recommend this Inn with NO reservations based on their unmatched customer service. There is not a doubt in my mind that our stay will be wonderful. Thank you Cape Arundel Inn for your kindness. We look forward to our stay with you, very soon

The inn is gorgeous, the view is spectacular, and the service was impeccable. Ocean, the restaurant in the inn was one of the finest seafood (or any cuisine for that matter) restaurants I have ever been to. A special shout out to Milena at the front desk and Janet in housekeeping. They couldn’t have done more for us.

We have stayed at the inn many, many times and had booked a visit for early December. My daughter came down with pneumonia and I called to re-book and was told by a very snooty manager that they will all allow us to reschedule but “this will never happen again”. She then pressured me to make the arrangements there and then and was annoyed that I couldn’t commit to a date. I then spoke with another manager who also made it clear that they would make a one time exception and let us rebook but if we needed to cancel again there would be no refund. We arrived on a Friday with the knowledge that there was a nor’easter on the way Sunday but we knew we couldn’t reschedule and decided to play it by ear. We stayed in room 2 and upon opening the door to the room an extremely heavy aroma of air freshener hit us. We opened all the windows ( was freezing outside) and tried to air out the room. I began to get runny eyes and congestion from the smell. The room is also in desperate need of updating… the windows are rotting and everything looked old and worn. There was a lovely girl at the front desk who did move us to another room and that was appreciated. We had dinner at Ocean and it was truly terrible..my husband ordered lamb and specifically asked for it medium.. it came out rare and very fatty. Everything was over salted and had very little flavor and was quite expensive for a sub par meal. Then we decided with the forecast (12 inches of snow) which would start Saturday night and go all day Sunday that we would not be comfortable driving home that we would cut our stay short and leave Saturday morning. Of course there was no refund offered and I knew from my conversations with the managers there would be no offer of one. We will never return to the Cape Arundel and we have been coming here for the past ten years..you think that would count for something and they would have offered us a credit for another stay. The inn used to be lovely and well maintained..the main building is in poor condition and general maintenance does not exist. Again, with the treatment from management, the awful dinner and poor room conditions we will never be back

Room #1 had great views and a fantastic bed. The best thing about this inn is the service! Every staff member is fantastic and Mr. Black and Angela know this area and all of the people like the back of their hand. Never steered us wrong. The restaurant is 5 star and I raved about it in my other review.Cozy front porch with fireplace and great parlor to hang out in the evening. Felt like being home!

This is the 5th or 6th visit and we love Cape Arundel Inn even more. The quality and ambience is consistent and cleanliness is impeccable. Milena greeted us on our arrival and made sure we were comfortable for our entire stay. She is a gem! Casey and her crew kept our accommodations perfect. We highly recommend this beautiful inn for a pleasant stay! Thank you !

We stayed at the Cape Arundel and had dinner at Ocean. The hotel is very beautiful and charming and all of the people there were super nice. For such a nice place and when you spend they'd have a better coffee setup but instead they guide you to the coffee station which has no coffee and is just a Keurig with in this case no pods. Me being a coffee drinker I feel like the one piece of advice I would offer would be to have fresh good coffee first thing in the morning. The other thing was the food at the Ocean : the portion size is pretty small and there wasn't a whole lot of flavor in the food. You pay a lot of money for a fixed menu and nothing really had much flavor and again there wasn't that much food so that was also a bit of a disappointment. Overall, however with the place being very pretty on the water and the staff being extremely nice I still give it a four star.

We stayed at the Cape Arundel “club house”. We stayed in room 211. This building and room was a total let down after coming from Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle, NH. Room 211 looked like it hadn’t been updated since 1948. Carpet in the room and hallway is old with stains. Decor in the room was tired and old. Furniture does not at all fit into the room. Getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night is like an obstacle course. The bathroom was also so outdated and sad looking. Bathroom door doesn’t close shut unless it is slammed shut. No hairdryer in the room. Needless-to-say, our vacation was not exactly uplifted with our stay at Cape Arundel. We should have stayed home!
