We have travelled to lovely resorts. This hotel has the design and sophistication of the best hotels. But what makes it so wonderful and memorable is the staff and the level of service they provide. Nothing is too much for the staff restaurant recommendations, planning your excursions, car rental and your personnel comfort We would love to thank all the staff. We read the reviews for this hotel and were amazed by the first class reviews it received. This hotel deserves them all and more. The attention to detail is fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. They are all charming and helpful and knowledgeable people who made this stay truly memorable. The breakfasts were amazing. These absolute feasts of sweet and savoury treats. Eve's mum makes all the sweet cakes and treats everyday. Thank you to Martine for organising everything. Thanks to Kostas for his chat and evening company. Spiro's and Alexandra for your calm guidance. Their knowledge is second to none. Their restaurant recommendations were all fabulous. The hotel have an arrangement with a Beach club 5 mins drive away which was lovely and a nice feature. The rooms were spotless with a change of bed linen and towels daily. This was truly a fabulous stay. Small but perfectly formed, run and presented. Thank you

My husband and I had the best time staying at this hotel, the staff are super friendly and can't do enough for you, they really do go above and beyond to help in any way they can. Also go with the restaurant recommendation they suggest you won't be disappointed.

Visited this hotel at the end of season and it was incredible. Never seen a hotel that has only ever received 5 star reviews before so they had a lot to live up prior to our arrival and they did. From the moment you arrive you feel you have come somewhere very special. I don't normally feel the need to leave a review but after our stay we felt that the level of service we received deserved to be recognised. I'll start with the staff, absolutely astounding, a level of service you could not surpass. From the initial greeting at the entrance by the immaculately turnout staff, your bags disappear and arrive at your room while you check in. Check in process is smooth, a delicious welcome cocktail and bottles of cold water are delivered to your room. The room was spotless clean, super modern with top of the range fittings. Superb power shower with expensive toiletries on hand. Well stacked mini bar (extra cost) and safe. Someone has spent time and money designing the rooms. On your balcony is your personal hot tub WOW !! Had breakfast by the pool on the first day and it did not disappoint a veritable feast, a table full of sweet and savoury treats, tea/coffee/water orange juice all brought to your table. On top of that there's a hot choice as well which is all cooked to order. We spent some time after breakfast with a member of staff who was incredibly knowledgeable about the island and gave us some great ideas. We mentioned car hire and they found us an incredible deal for 4 days of car hire. The hotel have a deal with Costa Costa beach as part of your visit and they book you front row sun bed at this beach at no cost to you, more great service. The staff were incredibly attentive to all your needs, my wife is recovering from recent knee replacement and after an initial request for ice on the first day to help with the pain and swelling, we were greeted on our return each time with ice if needed. Staff are incredibly professional yet we felt almost a part of the Canale family, they take time to get to know you and your needs. A personal thank you for all the staff and we hope one day to return.

Having recently returned from a 3 night stay in Kefalonia, we were adamant that we would not forget to leave a review for the team at Canale Hotel and Suites, as it is the very least they deserve. The Hotel is exquisite, immaculately presented, with a level of service that goes way and beyond. From the welcome drinks on arrival, to the gift given on departure, everything is done to make your stay extra special. The superb breakfast is one that will live long in the memory, and I cannot express just how much we enjoyed our time there. Everyone associated with the Hotel should be immensely proud, and we give our thanks to them for making our stay one to remember.

I’ve never wanted to write a review of a hotel before I’ve left it, but here I am - sitting on the balcony with the bubbling hot tub beside me writing this … I’ve recently started working within the hotel industry and I’m particularly interested to see how other hotels “do it” … Canale Hotel and Suites does it all right! Upon arrival we were greeted with the warmest welcome, a delicious welcome cocktail and some cold water. The staff at the reception took their time explaining a little about the island and some options for trips which was greatly appreciated as we only had a few days to it was good to know our options early. We were very kindly upgraded to a room with a hot tub as we were celebrating an anniversary and what a treat this room was! Absolutely spotlessly clean, not a single finger print or mark to be seen anywhere!!! Considering there is black glass throughout the whole bathroom their housekeeping team can clearly work magic! The room felt brand new, like nobody else had ever been in it. It was super sleek; with a really comfy bed and lovely linen. A million different lighting options, brilliant quiet air-con and to top it off you can open and close the bedroom curtains with a switch by the bed! All the toiletries, towels and robes were to an extremely high standard. The (chargeable) mini bar was stocked to the rafters with high end alcohol and soft drinks. Tea and coffee was complimentary. The breakfast included at the hotel is incredible, you are presented with so many different things, Greek yogurt, fresh pastries, fruit platter … the list goes on and on; and this is before they’ve taken your eggs order!!! This was our first trip to kefalonia but it most certainly will not be our last. Argostoli is the perfect first timer place to stay to access and see all the best bits! Sea turtles just along the water, complimentary sunbeds at a stunning nearby beach, beautiful coastal footpath leading to the lighthouse and not to mention the town itself with an array of restaurants, cafes and all kinds of shops. Transport and getting around the island is super easy, busses were great and we ended up walking a lot. We didn’t hire a car this time but took a day trip to see different parts of the island and it was great! We also commented on how safe we felt walking around the town after dark. Finally, the staff at this hotel are the very best. Every single one of them, front of house and behind the scenes. I can’t praise them enough. We stayed right at the end of their summer season, they must have been exhausted by now but we were treated like we were the first to arrive at the beginning of the season! They were so attentive, but not over the top and took a genuine interest in how you were and what you were doing with your days. I honestly believe that the owner of the hotel is extremely lucky to have staff like them. If you’re considering this hotel, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Canale Hotel and Suites …

This was a perfect stay. The property is pristine and the staff beyond accomodating. They organised cars, taxi, restaurants and with great humour and a calm that was beguiling. The room and all of the hotel were spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. We could want for no more. The breakfast was fantastic and all home made by a member of staffs mum. Walkable to everywhere in town for drinks and food. We would not stay anywhere else. It is a perfect oasis of calm and good taste. The best feature were the staff and team at the hotel. They were beyond wonderful.

I write this review as we are still here in Kefalonia on our holiday. Kefalonia has been our big holiday of 2023 and for me personally a dream I've had for 22 years which has finally been fulfilled in spectacular style. Where to even begin telling you about this place. From the moment that we arrived we were greeted with beaming smiles and an introduction that said more than "nice to meet you". The hotel facilities are First Class, contemporary, elegant decor and up to date in terms of the technology. The bed is most comfortable and the jacuzzi on the balcony is a really great touch. The breakfast served every day whether that be in the public areas or in your room is incredible. I have never had a breakfast like it, ever! The personalised selection you are given every day is outstanding, the pastries, the cakes, the fresh fruit, the standard of the eggs done just the way you want them and even the coffee. I used to think that a cappuccino was OK but you must try these ones. You can have super, top class facilities, fantastic boutique feel decor, get that five star award and brag about it in many places, stay in those places and after you have stayed you think to yourself "Well, yes I enjoyed that", or even possibly not. But there is one particular element of this place that stands out for me, and that is the people that work there. I mentioned at the beginning of the review that you are greeted with beaming smiles and an introduction that said more than nice to meet you. And throughout our week here this has continued, the staff (actually I would rather call them friends) have been so caring and attentive, whatever you want or need nothing is too much trouble. They are genuinely interested in you and you are made to feel so special here. Like some people I always think it's nice to try different places all the time but we love this place so much, we are that confident in it that we have already decided we are returning here next year, or possibly Canale's new hotel a few doors down the road which is still under construction but it will most definitely be either of the two. Kefalonia has a piece of my heart - I knew it would. But the Canale Hotel, and it's people have made this holiday truly unforgettable and one of the best experiences of my life. This is a top notch hotel and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The quality of the rooms and the amenities are top class, as are the staff working there. We have stay in many nice hotels and for once we couldn’t find a single bad word to say about anything.
