The Bridges Inn at Whitcomb House B&B

My husband and I just spent four nights at the Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Words cannot express how lovely this Inn is. Upon our arrival Susan, the Innkeeper, gave us a tour and history of the Inn. David, her son, is an excellent chef and each morning we had a wonderful breakfast in the dining room. Susan is very hospitable and really cares about the comfort of her guests. Thank you Susan and David for a wonderful visit!

8th (!) time coming there should tell you of how much we enjoy staying here and keep coming back. Another wonderful weekend. Susan and her son, David provide the lovely hospitality and great bfast. Great to meet other visitors at bfast. Close by to Keene, covered bridges and local breweries. Look forward to 2026.

Looking for a relaxing Inn that has Old World Styling with up to date Service and Food. This your Place. Weather you are leaf peeping or looking to venture out into the attractions of Vermont . This your place. Susan and the staff will make your trip memorable. The smell of the Breakfast makes you want to run down and see what's cooking. David takes pride in preparing great food and home made bread for you to enjoy. One of the long time patron went Apple picking we had Apple Crisp with breakfast. All and all a Great place to stay.

My wife and I stayed here while we attended the Keene pumpkin festival. We had a wonderful experience at this inn. The time spent preparing our breakfasts did not go unnoticed. The breakfasts were spectacular! Susan was a super host. When we have another opportunity to visit the area this inn is definitely the choice to go with..

This was an exquisite B & B! The room was gorgeous! The queen bed we had was luxuriously comfortable and the room was beautifully decorated with antiques and homey touches. The breakfast (thank you, David) was absolutely delicious. Susan’s gracious hospitality made us feel very welcome and at home. If we are ever in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay here and take advantage of the home and beautiful surroundings.

Step into the past at this charmingly nostalgic Inn located in southern NH. Located just steps away from a covered bridge in the bucolic town of Swanzey, the location is perfect if you just want to enjoy the peace of the Inn and it’s lovely ambience, reading in the gazebo while breathing deeply of pine scented air or listening to a cricket chorus in the screened in back porch in the evening. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented on delicate plates and cups swirled in florals on with gold chargers beneath Nearby Chesterfield Gorge and the hidden gem, the Madame Sherry forest for hiking and nature viewing along with a plethora of other activities. The only drawback is the lack of restaurants within walking distance but a drive to nearby Keene or Brattleboro will provide plenty of dining options. The Inn is clearly a labor of love by Susan, the Inn keeper with help from her family. As one couple at our table said this morning, when you sit down to breakfast, you feel like royalty! This was a last minute choice for us but we will certainly try to return sooner rather than later!
