JR-EAST HOTEL METS KAWASAKI

We stayed for 8 nights in total, but due to accommodation costs, we split it into 5 nights and 3 nights. I booked a single room, but there are two types of rooms: premium and normal single. I had to move between two rooms, but when I called the front desk before checking out, the next room was supposed to be checked in at 3:00, but the next room will be ready by the time of checkout. I had to go down to the front desk with my luggage once, but they moved me to the next room smoothly. The difference between the room types is almost the same, but in the premium room, there is nothing in the normal room: 1. Two bags of delicious drip coffee are prepared for each cleaning. (I kept one every time, so it was helpful after I moved to another room.) 2. The toilet and bath facilities are a bit luxurious. The rod of the shower curtain is curved, so the curtain does not hit the body when showering, and the washlet in the toilet is a little luxurious. There is one more shelf in the bathroom. 3. There is another *****ed cover at the feet above the bed cover (stylish, but it doesn't matter if you don't have it). For laundry, it seems that the only option is to use a coin laundry which is about a 10 minute walk away.

In fact, the cost-effectiveness cannot be too high, after all, it is just a station hotel. However, the real person at the front desk is not responsible for check-in. It is very inconvenient for domestic guests to check in through the video system. I already understand Japanese, but the voice is too soft and I can’t hear it clearly, and the reservation search system is not easy to use and is backward, so I wouldn’t recommend it if requested, but it’s still fine for a temporary night.

The higher room price is simply because the room has a larger space and is closer to the station. The rest of the hotel is similar to a regular business hotel. The lack of a washing machine is not very friendly to long-term travelers. It is commendable that disinfectants are placed in each room, which is very convenient.

The room was spacious and comfortable. However, the room felt a little dark. There is no problem if you open the curtains, but it is a little dark at night.

The location is good as it is almost a station building. Security is also good as you cannot use the elevator without your room key. The room was clean and not too small even though it was near the station...I was happy that they provided bath salts.

It is close to Kawasaki Station. There are restaurants and supermarkets next to the hotel. When you exit the hotel, turn left and go on the pedestrian bridge, which leads directly to the Nikko Hotel and the supermarket. It is really convenient.
