Origin Kansas City Riverfront, a Wyndham Hotel

Very nice room , good price and close to CPK stadium  ( we came for a KC Current game)and other points of interest. Also close to dining options and had good on site parking. Accommodated our requests for river view and early check-in.

Great hotel, would recommend!

Walls are very thin, can hear all other guests coming down the hall. Breakfast doesn’t start until 7am and it’s paid, not free with room as was when I booked.

We stayed for one night and I wish we could have stayed more. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant had a delicious breakfast. Across the parking lot to the Missouri River walking path which was a beautiful walk.

We left a few hours after checking in because the entire hotel smelled like rancid sewage and it made it unbearable to stay. They left the TV on in our room with no remote anywhere, and we searched every nook and cranny. No microwave (what kind of hotel makes you pay $145 for a night and you dont get a microwave??). Mini fridge didnt make youre food or drinks cold so it was worthless. Overall the actual worst experience and not worth the price.

Front desk staff Victoria and Quinton were amazing. Hotel amenities are lacking and costly additional expenses for room. They now also charge guests to park at hotel. Don’t book group events with this hotel. Their group sales Rep Katie is not professional at all. Group events take a lot of coordination and she made our entire experience complicated. While this hotel was clean and the front desk staff were very kind the over all hotel is not worth the cost for the lacking amenities, additional charges, and sizes of rooms. Side note the entire area surrounding the hotel is going through a massive construction project of new buildings. So tons of noise, detours, and dirt everywhere. The river views and park landscapes advertised are for the future. Right now it’s a super loud and dirty construction zone.
