和風旅館が立ち並ぶ嬉野温泉にあって、異彩を放つ洋館ホテル。嬉野温泉独特のぬめりのある温泉が楽しめる。露天風呂は男女交互の利用時間制。開業29年という事だが、部屋はとても清潔で快適だった。ホスピタリティも大変良かった。イギリスの洋館をイメージしており、インテリアも落ち着いた感じ。今回夕食は、ホテル外にある提携のイタリアンだったが、ホテル側で送迎をしてくれる。朝食はホテル内のレストランで取ったが、質は大変良いがややボリュームに欠ける。また雰囲気のあるバーがあり、お酒の種類も豊富でプロのバーテンダーが美味しいカクテルを提供してくれる。コスパがとても良いバーである。

外観は洋館でとても素敵。クラシックで気分が上がりました。内装も古いものをピカピカに磨いてて味があります。フロントの対応も、人によりますが、悪くなかったです。お風呂の泉質もさすが、三大美肌の嬉野だなあと。ちょっとぬるぬるして柔らかいです。部屋もとても天井が高くて広くて開放感あり。ベットも寝心地の良いスプリングで、枕も良かったです。掃除も清潔でした。部屋から見る景色も西日は凄いですが、朝はとっても清々しい景色でした。 こんなに素敵なホテルなのに。食事がひどい。これは素材にお金をかけられない、とかの問題ではなくて、焦げたコロッケを出していたり、オマールエビの下に口当たりの悪いキャベツが敷いてあったり。苦い味がするパスタだったり。コース料理やイタリア料理を食べたことがない年配のお客さんたちなら誤魔化せるかもしれませんが、非常に残念でした。唯一美味しかったのは、パンとオリーブオイルでした。 わずかな期待をもって朝食を食べましたが、う〜ん、厳しい。改めてみてると口コミで3年前にアップされてる朝食のメニューとまったく変わっていないので、料理には力を入れない方針なのか！？ なお、遅いスタートにすると、トマトジュースやミルクなどのドリンクは出してくれないので、早めにいかれたほうが良いと思います。 本当に外観も素敵だし、そこを見直せば、何度も泊まりたくなるホテルになると思います。厳しいことを書きましたが、期待を込めて。

今回は残念ながら夕食無しのプランでしたがバーやライブラリを利用し有田焼のお土産を買って帰りました。
とにかく全てにおいて人の対応が気持ちよく、素晴らしいと思いました。次回は夕食込みでできればマッサージとかお願いしたいです。
