"I was looking for a hotel close to the train station for a short weekend to rest and get to know a new place. It is just like 200 m from the station, just a short walk easy to do with the bit of luggage, so that objective was fulfilled. The staff at the reception was very welcoming and helpful, and the place itself has the charm of a historic hotel, I especially enjoyed walking down the staircase. The room was, though small, very charming and clean. And I enjoyed that even though the train station is around the corner, public transport just in front of the door, it was very quiet. I actually was woken next morning by the sound of the Zoologische Stadtgarten Karlsruhe (Zoological City Garden), I believe it was the Flamingos. To get to the castle, and the main city center of Karlsruhe one can pick public transport right in front of the train station, or just walk along the Zoological garden and catch a glimpse if the elephants. All in all, if ever coming back, I will pick that hotel again. "

"This hotel is somewhat hidden away in a beautiful part of southern Germany. It's full of charm, with comfortable rooms (with spectacular pastoral views of the wooded hills around Waldbronn). Unfortunately Cedric's, the Michelin-starred restaurant was closed the night I was at the hotel, but Pur, the hotel's other, somewhat less fancy, restaurant was open -- and the meal there was outstanding. The staff was gracious and welcoming, and although my stay was only so that I could visit the nearby village where my great-grandmother had been born in 1870, I hope I'll have the opportunity to go back and stay for a few more days. Highly recommended!"

"I really would have wanted to give this hotel a 5* review cause all in all location, service levels, facilities, food and drinks were all top notch. But.. in our amazing and big room there was a glass window in between the equally amazing and big bathroom and the bedroom. This window does unfortunatly not come with much of insulation in regards to sound, and if someone turns on the light in the middle of the night the bedroom lights up like a Christmas tree. Even so, would I return to this hotel? Yes, of course I would. Everything else is top notch, so why wouldn't I/we? Cause this really is the only thing standing in between a 4 and 5 star review, and would probably gone un noticed on a single's trip. It is also easily fixed by the management 🙃"

We were treated very friendly and pre-existing at the arrival. The hotel is beautifully located in the winegroves and is beautifully built. We had a beautiful room with very beautiful views. Breakfast was versatile, beautifully decorated and was delicious. 😋 See friendly and previous staff."

"Stayed here for a business trip and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well maintained. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff at the front desk were polite and friendly. The location is convenient if you’re visiting the Bretten area by car, with parking available and several restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was generally quiet, making it easy to get a good night’s rest before work. The only disappointing part of my stay was the invoice/receipt process. I requested the hotel multiple times to send me the invoice needed for my company’s reimbursement, but unfortunately I never received it. For business travelers, this is an important service, and I hope the hotel improves its responsiveness in this area. Overall, it’s a comfortable and good-value hotel for both business and leisure stays. I would consider staying again, provided the invoice process is improved."

Mainly in classical style, the breakfast is also very good with a full range of varieties. The lady at the front desk is very friendly, and many of the waiters are very polite and friendly. "I spent one night during the week in this hotel close to the center and restaurants. Excellent welcome in perfect English. Traditional room, very clean, large comfortable bed. The shower was just a little small and the water jet a little weak for my taste. Mini bar, Wi-Fi ok. Private parking at 9 EUR. Good surprise at breakfast: lots of choice, especially savory ones: sausages, black puddings, cheeses... In short, for a professional stay, it's very good."
