Karatsu Seaside Hotel

The sea view was beautiful. The food quality was high 😋. I could see the sun rising from behind the small mountains. It's a shame I stayed in the west wing; I could only have breakfast in the east wing and couldn't use the east wing's hot springs and other facilities (which seemed newer and nicer).

I recommend staying in the East Wing; it's newer. There are so many activities available, remember to bring your swimsuit! On the 8th floor, there's an open-air hot spring pool. On the 2nd floor, the relaxation area has four saunas; follow the marked order and timings for a full 26-minute session. At 3 PM, there's a complimentary welcome cake in the hotel lobby. Both the included dinner and breakfast are buffet-style and the food was plentiful and delicious.

The hotel room was really spacious, clean, and bright. The view from the balcony was stunning, and the hot springs were fantastic, especially the open-air ones which were so relaxing. They even had cakes for afternoon tea, and the buffet selection was great too! 😊

The sea view is stunning, and while the room is a bit dated, it's spacious, bright, and very clean. The breakfast was terrible; honestly, out of at least 40 hotels I've stayed at in Japan, I've never had good breakfast. For this price point, it's decent value for money though.

This hotel has a great location, excellent facilities, delicious food, and good service. I highly recommend it to friends.

The rooftop infinity hot spring pool and the forest behind are absolutely amazing.

Every time I travel to Japan, I look forward to the delicious bakeries and the fun of trying Japanese home-style side dishes for breakfast. However, the breakfast here was far below my expectations, which was disappointing. I also looked forward to using the infinity pool, but was told that the WEST wing, which we booked, does not have access to it. This was not clear during the booking process. The experience was much worse than even some of the cheaper hotels we stayed at during our trip, so I probably won't be returning. On a positive note, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
