Reviews for Karatsu Hotels

Mizuno Ryokan
4.7/55 Reviews
We splurged and stayed at the Mizuno Ryokan to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary. We were driving and it took a little while to find it because it is tucked in an alley behind a school. However, well worth the hunt! It is right on the beach with a fabulous view out to offshore islands. The staff is amazing in how they try to cater to your every need. English is spoken but we did a lot of pantomime as well. The food was fantastic; each course was a new experience in how to prepare Japanese cuisine and we enjoyed it all - even the squid that wasn't quite dead yet! All fresh, small portions but so much that we could not have eaten more at the end.

It's the first time I stayed in Karatsu, but if I could, I looked for a hot spring inn because it was good. I had some doubts until I stayed, but when I was soaked in hot water, the doubt flew. But when I took a bath, I was surprised ‼ What, across the glass window, people were crossing the river. Wow ⁉ I thought I saw my splendid nude and hid my front with a towel. I couldn't see it because I was taking off my glasses, but I had an explanation with Chang and magic mirror, and finally I enjoyed the hot springs comfortably and calmly. I also asked for a squid called my squid, so I had a delicious meal. The staff 々 was also good and comfortable.
Hotel Uohan

The hotel is great! Just on the shore of the Hamasaki coast. Walking from the station, personal feeling is not far away, after the check-out, the hotel will be responsible for the car to the station is very intimate, the most amazing is the hotel's meditation dinner, watching the sunset in the sunset, taste the exquisite, delicious and every Delicious, each plate is different, it is pleasing to the eye, can not help but take pictures. The room is also very big. If you go to the hot springs and come here again, the water quality is better than it, but the focus is on the meals and the scenery on the beach.
Onyado Kaishu

The facilities are old and are cheap inn-level facilities in Korea. The room is tatami and the bedding is old and not clean. However, the location is close to the city and Karatsu Castle, and it is also connected to the cafe street. Above all, breakfast and dinner cover the aging of the facility with authentic Japanese food. And the price is cheaper than other ryokan. If you want a clean hotel in the pine forest next to the beach, you can stay at the Seaside Hotel (East), and I want a Japanese-style hotel cheaply in a Japanese accommodation.
Shioyu Naginoto
4/590 Reviews
The hotel is located by the sea, with convenient parking. It is a seawater hot spring. The so-called Shioyu is a heated hot spring. The hotel is a garden-style Japanese hotel. Wearing colorful kimonos, walking and taking pictures in the hotel’s garden is unique. The front desk issued a coupon for Happy Hour at the bar, and you can have a few drinks at the bar. Breakfast and dinner are good, because it is close to the beach, octopus is a specialty here, and the octopus for dinner is great (sashimi and salt and pepper). It is recommended to stay for 2 nights, and each room has a free private soup reservation. As for the public pool, one looks at the sea outside (Figure 1) and the other is indoors.
