Bostan Gulistan Houseboat

Great experience to stay on a house boat. The place was clean and cosy, the staff was very friendly. The shikaras (small boat) bring you ashore or to any other place you wish to go, like the morning vegetable market. This again done by very friendly staff. It is of course a boat and not your usual hotel room, but once you are used to it, it is a great place to stay!

Their service is exceptional. One of the nicest places i’ve been to. They are so accomodating & nice. The food taste amazing too! Would love to come back in Summer/Spring. Definitely reccomend to those who are considering to go.

Truly a beautiful cozy home and a unique experience. Service (butler, house workers etc) is friendly, always available and approachable. They made this boathouse feel like home and took care of all our needs such as food preferences, heater, WiFi, safety and even bargaining tips —making sure we get the best prices, which I feel is always a concern as tourists 😆. Even arranged for a tailor to visit the boathouse and alter a dress from fabric despite my last minute request. ***aged to get it ready in a few hours :) The house is beautifully crafted with wood, spacious with a living room, kitchen and rooms. There is even a garden! Rest assured, you will be taken care of here. Though the place is beautiful, the hospitality here (by our guide Yaqub and the workers) is honestly what makes this place and whole experience more memorable 😊

Bestest 😆 hotel we stayed in Kashmir. Service was tiptop. The food was excellent. We got to choose the menu for each meal. The cook even made us Malaysian food like fried noodles and fried rice. All the helps were very friendly and accommodating too. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

ReVisited Kashmir this November (last visit was August 2022) to catch the autumn colours.. and stayed again at Bostan Gulistan on Dal Lake. Once again enjoyed the hospitality and clean accommodation and yummy food served. Weather is cold at this time of the year. Enjoyed the traditional heating used in the boathouse which is quite an experience. When visiting Srinagar, Highly recommend staying at the Bostan Gulistan House Boat.

Stayed in the houseboat for 4 nights and it has been wonderful every moment we spent time there. Comfortable room, excellent butler service by Hassan and Yassim who were always there to provide assistance, chef who cooked warm and appetising food going out of the way at times to cook food on request and instructions. Great location where we went atop the houseboat for good photo shots. There's a bathtub in the toilet but no stopper. Water pressure was good and sufficient hot water to bath. Great to have met the boss and his family on this trip who is very handson and checks in on his guests regularly. Maybe because its a houseboat, the walls separating rooms were thin and not soundproof thus we could hear the next room.and the floor boards creak on each footstep. Otherwise excellent stay

Amazing service provided. Food is great, people there are very welcoming and helpful to attend to our needs. View is absolutely stunning, both day and night. Really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend to all!

Food they served were customised to our need and taste and lot of variety The spl apple juice was everyone's fav A must try place in Srinagar Next time gonna stay for more days Negatives: at night the lawn has some mosquito and not that it's in their control but electricity was down..the lights work but not the fan . Otherwise perfect package
