The location of the hotel is very good. It’s overlooking the sea. My sister and I had booked the suite for one night stay. The view was good but the corner room has a better view. We had called to get the best view room but they said at that time that we have got the best. There must be some miscommunication there or the room wasn’t available. Anyhow. We loved the room and the decor. It was huge and it’s decorated with care. The eating space is nice too. Food was good. And the seating area over looking the sea is amazing too. But I must say that the hospitality was not good. We had requested in advance to delay the checkout and let us checkout by 1:30 PM. But the message was not conveyed to the staff who was attending to us. We had to give reference to who we spoke to etc etc. I like hassle free travel experience and hence do all the talking before hand but to no use. When we reached the hotel, we realised that the Wi-Fi network in the room was bad. We had a meeting to attend to the next morning. So requested them to give us a space which would have good connection. The hotel staff was helpful and showed us an unused space near the reception. And said he would unlock it for our use. We check if it had a table, chair, and AC. Next morning, there was some confusion. The ***ager was there and he stared at the staff and talked rudely in their language with us standing infront of them. They opened the space anyways. But said that the ACs aren’t working. And there was no fan. I ran back to them saying please check again because it was steaming hot and attending an important meeting in a saree with sweat dripping from all over would be horrible. I went back with the remote and realised they knowingly didn’t switch the main switch on. Even after all this, they questioned me again on the checkout time. And asked when our meeting would get over. Even if the space was an unused space. I didn’t like this experience at all. It made all the good experience turn sour.

We had a satisfactory stay at colyford inn, kannur. The property is easily accessible from railway station. The property is good for family. Roooms are spacious. Our room was ready and we were able to check-in without any delay even when we reached around 11. 10 pm in the property. Breakfast menu should be improved. They should add bread, butter, jam and fresh juice which will provide kids a better option. Currently only dosa, idli, tea and coffee was only available for breakfast. Overall had a nice experience with family. Will choose the property during our next visit too.

This beach house is located at payablam beach , the service and people are good and honest and cooperative , the tides of ocean are very silky here , I found it was so smooth and feeling like very soft , not like other ocean which hits the bank of beach . Beware of this shady hotel!! My gold & money was stolen from room 311 while I was asleep in the room around midnight on 20/11/19. I've lodged an FIR in Kannur Town Police Station. ISSUES: Damp, smelly & unsafe rooms. Cameras in the gallery DO NOT work. High tarrifs. AC not effective. Dirty linen & towel. Phone in the room do not work. Suffocating tiny lifts. What makes things WORSE – Rude & unsympathetic hotel staff didn't even feel sorry or visit the Police Station with us for reporting the case (after all the robbery took place on their property). In fact, the cunning, arrogant & non-courteous staff that tries to THREATEN me. Icing on the cake: I confronted the MD to discuss the issues, he was only interested in his money. In fact, he tried to offer 50% discount on stay if I removed the online review (from Goibibo). I’d already paid advance Rs.5000 & lost gold + cash worth much more than that, why would I remove the review? I want the whole world to know this is the most unsafe place to spend a night. Had I seen the place before, I’d never had made this mistake of booking this. I haven't seen a worse hotel than this having traveled frequently to various places and stayed at various hotels. If there was an award for the worst Hotel, hands down, they’ll win it!
